However, I broke my ankle a week ago during the winds/rain of Hurricane Helene and did NOT have my phone on me to call for help! If I'd had this item then, I'd have had it on my person and would have been able to get help much faster. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. I have a Samsung S23+ and it holds my phone nice and tight. It has not slipped out once and I have put it to ALOT of physical abuse/use in the last week since I got home from the hospital! I don't know that this would hold up over time if you wear it on your neck daily and have the heavy cell phone be bouncing around on the cord as you move. This is probably why other reviews stay it broke within a short time probably because of this motion.For my purposes, I only mean to have a secure way to hold the phone with a cord wrapped around my wrist in case of extending out one arm out for photos. I won't be wearing it around my neck as a usual use.I have a Pixel 7a. This one seems sturdier--in fact so sturdy that I have to strain to wrap it around my phone.
