Amigurumi Toilet Paper Covers: Cute Crocheted Animals, Flowers, Food, Holiday Decor and More!

I bought this for the sock monkey tissue cover, but there are at least 4 more that I am wanting to make. The directions are clear and there are nice pictures of each finished project. Recommended.

I was initially a bit disappointed with the quality of this book when I received it, it did actually look like it had been done on a home printer. However, I am newish to crochet and found these patterns really easy to follow and the ones I have done so far have only taken a couple of evenings each. In the introduction the author says they are for double toilet rolls, and the instructions tell you to use aran weight wool and a 5mm hook. Apart from the Santa hat I used a 3.5mm hook and DK wool, which fit ordinary toilet rolls fine. Its in US terms so their single crochet is UK double crochet. You are given stitch counts at the end of each round which is great. I didn't have or want to use safety eyes so sewed buttons on instead. Everyone who seen them loves them and I hope they raise a smile from the recipients on Christmas Day. I am so glad I bought this book.

Mai divertita tanto a sfogliare un libro! Mette allegria in ogni pagina soprattutto pensando che poi ci infili il rotolo di carta igienica! La spiegazione è tutta in inglese ma credo che con un minimo di impegno e un vocabolario me la caverò. I lavori proposti sono per tutti i gusti e non vedo l'ora di mettermi all'opera. Una ventata di freschezza tra i soliti libri!
