My Brest Friend Original Nursing Posture Pillow, Midnight Poppy

Provides great back support, has a little pocket that's quite useful for having a hanky handy during those intial messy feeds. Has a little pillow bump to elevate the baby's head. Overall excellent product; can't imagine feeding without it.

Wonderful product! So simple yet so helpful. As a new mommy this is a God-send. It has replaced 3-4 pillows and still gives better back support. Love the little pouch on the front as well.

I asked the nurses in the hospital of I should go with this or Boppy. I was advised that this one is better for newborns so they don't slide down and is more secure. (I did end up getting one of each).If you can only choose one- I'd definitely get the my brestfriend. For a couple of weeks my newborn would only nurse if I walked around, I was recovering from a c-section so this pillow helped there because it once strapped tightly it could help bear a little weight so it wasn't all on me (I did make sure to still hold my baby myself so I wouldn't trust that it could bear all weight). I don't know if the raised spots on this one is standard but on either end there is a raised circle like where the baby's head would rest and when I was having to multi-task like eating while nursing, those spots seemed to help support my baby's head in a way to make it more level while nursing so I didn't have to use my hand.The pocket on the side was nice for his pacifier, nipple cream, and other misc items I may need on a whim while nursing. Many people said they didn't understand the pocket's purpose, but that's what I used it for and found it was handy.My baby is now 2 months old and I still use this nightly during the nighttime feeds. It helps me feel more secure when nursing while groggy. As you can see in the photo- my husband also found it helpful when he wanted to game while giving me a break. Haha Very easy to use! Cover is easy to remove and wash! I'm really lazy and literally don't hang dry anything like everyone advises- it did not shrink in the dryer- the clip did make a bit of a ruckus.Get a waterproof cover to go on the pillow directly as it is not waterproof. May sound silly but I didn't not realize this until once it was covered in pee, spit up and milk (we were having a rough day) lolI did love this Lily of the valley pattern, and it was also the lowest cost!

If you know nursing, especially in the beginning, perfect positioning is everything. I had a lot of trouble with the boppi pillow sliding off my stomach. I went for a LC consult and she had this one and I instantly knew I had to buy it. Great pillow! Super supportive, love the pocket for my phone and baby nail clippers, and it won't slide off your stomach!

I was using the Boppy pillow before this but the ends were way too flat and small to support my arms and be comfortable. I tried putting extra pillows underneath it, using regular pillows on their own, using folded blankets with pillows… nothing really worked well though and it was getting really frustrating. I’ve had the Brest Friend pillow for a few days now and it’s been the BEST. The thickness is just right for me, the material and cover is soft enough but easy to clean, and I like that I can easily turn it to one side or the other if needed. I was a little hesitant about having to strap into something but the back padding is supportive enough while not being too thick or annoying, and I can’t even really tell the actual strap is there. I also like that it comes with a small pocket on the front. 10/10 would recommend!

This was recommend to me by my midwife and now I know why! Great quality and excellent support. The clip makes the pillow so comfortable because it doesn’t move, and the back support is small but makes a big difference. I also have a boppy nursing pillow but prefer this one & hardly use my boppy.

Definitivamente el mejor cojín de lactancia, se ajusta perfecto a la cintura, el bebé queda súper bien acomodado, mucho mejor que con la dona de lactancia, lo único que no me encantó fue la tela que se siente sintética, lo bueno es que es fácil de limpiar.
