I received a faulty left earbud which had constant crackling/static noise even while NC=OFF and even when not connected to device. So I returned to amazon (for refund) and got a replacement (from the mall [50 AED more expensive] because I did not want to wait 15 days for amazon replacement) and the new ones are perfect, no issues. These earphones are great, comfortable, light, great sound in any mode. Nice touch sensors with some customisation. Amazing battery life (when not using NC). The mic's voice quality (for calls etc) is not great, it sounds like I am on speaker phone (a bit distant/echo-y). Some people have issues with these earphones combined with Google Pixel and iPhones (search reddit) but with Samsung Galaxy S10, Huawei Tablet and Laptop they work beautifully. I cannot comment on voice assistant features as I do not use them. The headphones app is great with auto firmware update, EQ lots of features. Enjoy!

After I bought them I decided to return it for two reasons 1 it didn't fit well 2 the call quality is not that good, but before I return it I order Airpod pro just to compare but sony is amaizing not even close, I change the Tips from my old galaxy cable headphone everything is perfect now, This is what I like from sony 1. The sound quality LDAC 2. Speak to chat option specifically in the GYM 3. Never runout from battery 4. ANC and Ambient 5. Cool and unique style 😎 But it doesn't support multiple connections

I bought this less than a year ago, it was a wonderful product and I was really enjoying it. Since last month, I have noticed that the battery is draining very quickly on right ear bud. I bought it from Dubai, UAE and have now moved to another country. It is still under warranty, but sadly the warranty is of no use.

I have owned bose products, audio technica and the V moda, sound wise this earpiece is better. better battery also. However, due to the new memory foam thing it is a bit unhygenic as the foam gathers dust and all. They provide three pieces large medium and small . Large ones fit my ears but it already tore within a couple of months, I am using the medium but sound leaks. Noise cancelling is OK, sound is super. Now I have to buy the memory foam tips for around 100 aed in the market. Good value for money though.

The earbuds are amazing. The sound quality and bass are really good. If you travel a lot and you want silence and not be bothered by kids crying in the flight, this is the solution ( not your kids of course :D ) The Sony app and the features are really good and customizable. Only one negative point are the earbud tips which are made of memory foam and they do not fit properly. The solution for that is to use the silicone tips and the problem is solved and voila you have the best noise cancelling earbuds with the powerful bass sound.

Finally took the plunge and bought a pair, having been firmly in the Samsung buds 2 camp for 6 months. Sound quality and noise cancelling are excellent. A little bulky in the ear compared to the buds 2 but seeing as they're my office/home ear buds they're secure enough. Won't be doing any physical exercise with them, not a tight enough fit.

I first have to mention that mine had a severe battery drain issue, and I tried to update the firmware, however, the battery drain was faster than the update, it took 4 charges and didn't finish, I ended up returning it. With that in mind review is based on the firmware I had: - I read a lot of reviews on these and that they are "Industry Leading ANC" however I was not impressed at all, moreover, I can't switch off ANC, I can only choose between ANC or Transparent, which no one talks about. - The audio quality was great, however not as loud as my liking. - No support for Siri on iPhone.

I have the XM3 which was redeemed through a credit card sign up promotion, and they sounded amazing. However the buds were so bulky, had a short battery life, and were always dropping out of my ears with none of the included ear tips giving a good fit. Chanced upon these during the Black Friday weekend sales and got them at a hugely discounted price of S$260. Ordered on Saturday and delivered on Monday. Pairing was straightforward using the Sony headphones app. The earbuds case and earbuds were so much more compact when compared to the XM3s, and the included eartips were a much better fit than the older model. The sound was clear and bright, and the app allows full customisation of sound to suit individual tastes. With such a great offer on hand, these buds are greatly recommended to anyone seeking high end and high quality earbuds.

Well let's make a detailed review for this wonderful item. I purchased this last year, and after long use I believe it's the best earbuds currently in the market for many reasons The noise canceling is superb ( btw it's active ) And Even when you disable it the buds itself has good sound isolation The sound quality is excellent and the earbuds give good and rich bass with no disturbing effect The battery life for me was long enough. The mic was the only problem as the mic had not very good quality And the pairing mode wasn't as easy at first but later i had no problem I recommend it if you want to listen to music or watch movies as if you are in the cenima The earbuds has very advanced features and i believe it's better that other products in the market and the application give it updates regularly

I really expected more from Sony. While the sound quality was decent at first, the rest of the experience has been beyond frustrating. The microphone is extremely poor, everyone I speak to complains about the audio. Even worse, the headphones constantly disconnect and reconnect on their own, even when they’re sitting in the case on the table. I’ve had calls interrupted because they randomly connected mid-conversation, without me touching them! Then, one day, they just died. They’re fully charged, no drops, no damage, no scratches but they no longer connect to any device. All they do is blink and heat up, no response, no fix. This has been the worst earbuds experience I’ve ever had. Very disappointing, especially coming from a brand like Sony with that price. I will never buy anything from Sony again!

This is my second pair of mx4. First pair had the draining battery issues. My right earbud auto off after 10 mins of play. I like the noise cancelling and sound signature so decided to buy the same model again. This new pairs comes with firmware 1.5.0 hopefully no more draining battery issues. Warranty can be register at Sony with 12 months + 3 months. Ordered on Sunday delivered on tues. price at $219 is cheaper than official store selling at promo price of $249. Great deal!!!
