Will these scissors cut my Yorkie's hair? The previous Clippers of another brand did not.

Hi, I am a very amateur but I have used this set on a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel just to keep her tidy during lockdown and this set is more than enough for her. I suggest that you watch the video of the use of this dog clippers before purchasing. Because they are very useful before you decide to buy.

Is this ok for my long haired dog, I need a good dog clipper with low noise.

Personally, I find that Dog Grooming Kit are better for short, smooth-coated dogs. Dogs with long hair are more suitable for it, you can try it. It will not let you down.

my dog is along hair non sheading mix bread but he gets tangles and mats overnight. Will this go though a tangle or mat easily with the guards??

If matted down to the skin, no trimmer will work. You’ll have to use scissors. If mat is at the end of hair (away from skin) and comb can go under it, then I think this trimmer will be able to get through it.

Can you get spare blades?

Yes, inside the box there is a pamphlet, with details of where spare blades can be purchased. It's a brilliant machine, and has removed all the knots and cobbles from my two cats. I'm now grooming them more regularly, in the hope I might not need to use it again. Hope that helps you.
