Nice Monitor
There is a lot to like about this monitor. It's easily height adjustable, it can pivot, the angle can be tilted up and down, it has built-in speakers (I am using a Bose Solo 5 soundbar instead of the built-in speakers), the side and top bezels are not too wide, and the picture quality is very good, with a lot of picture configuration options. (I plugged a 3.5mm stereo patch cable from the back of the monitor into the soundbar.) I watch TV broadcast and cable channels, movies, and TV shows via my computer, so I wanted a larger high quality-picture monitor with a higher DPI capability. I did not want to spend so much and buy one of the many monitors above $500, but I did not want one of the cheaper 32-inchers that had less DPI capability. This LG has so far satisfied what I want. I have settled on the "HDR Effect" Picture Setting for most use, and it is quite nice. There is also a "Custom" picture setting that allows for a lot of configuration. (I could never have just settled for LG's factory default picture settings.) The monitor is very heavy...much heavier in weight than I expected. Attaching the stand is really easy. Detaching the stand is also very easy. Build quality of this monitor seems good. Assuming this just-released monitor stays working perfectly for a long time, LG did an excellent job and I am glad I bought it.

Great Value Monitor for Apple Users
I bought this monitor for use in my home office. At work, I use the older Apple Thunderbolt Display. For my home office, I was looking for a display with comparable screen quality of my office display as well as usb-c inputs, to avoid all of the cables. My computer is a 2019 MacBook Pro 13" After using for a week, I definitely like this monitor and would recommend it for someone that is budget conscious but wants a good display. Make sure you take the time to calibrate it. Also - make sure you get the Apple Thunderbolt 4 cable when pairing with an Apple Computer. The cable that comes with it is not fast enough for charging plus video etc. In short: if you're highly critical to color accuracy, I would spend more for the next model up. If you can "flex" a bit on color and want a good display, this is the one!

Garbage product, no wonder it costs so much less than others, don't make the mistake of buying this
The included thunderbolt cable doesn't connect the monitor to any mac laptops except to charge them - definitely not input. Bluetooth mouse using a USB connector does not connect through the monitor, must be connected directly to the computer. No idea why. The display itself is super crappy. It looks cheap, it's not sharp, the colors come off (mine was quite green) and the display looks super wonky as soon as you're slightly off-angle. I would expect this from an LCD screen from the year 2004, not 2021. It's really amazing how bad the screen looks. Brightness is poor, brightness and contrast are nearly impossible to get calibrated correctly. Seriously, don't buy this product.

Good monitor needs better connection options...
It is a great looking monitor but it only has two USB ports for connecting devices. Would be nice to have at least one or two more ports so it can act more as a docking station.

Perfect Affordable Solution for my M1 MacBook Air
Nice monitor. For the money, I couldnโt be happier. I love the USB-C connectivity for my display and charging. The size is awesome, too. My only complaint is the โUSB-C cableโ that shipped with the monitor didnโt work. I assumed the cable that shipped with the monitor would work as a display cable to connect with the MacBook Air. Unfortunately it didnโt work, I assume it was because the USB-C cable that came with the monitor is not a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C cable. The included cable was nothing more than a charging cable. Anyone wanting to use the USB-C as a display cable must make sure the cable you purchase has a lightning bolt on it; this means itโs a Thunderbolt cable. Once I purchased the correct โThunderbolt 3โ USB-C to USB-C cable, everything worked flawlessly.

Stunning
This is a stunningly beautiful monitor for both entertainment and business/productivity. The large 32-inch frame is great as a dual monitor replacement. I love the HDR mode, and no backlight bleed issues because it's a VA panel. When I checked out some 4k videos my first thought was wow I think it looks better on this thing than it would in real life. The only thing that I would want to see improved to make this perfect is to make a version available with 90+ hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling. Quite the first world problem.

Broke after 18 mo
I really enjoyed this monitor, it started to get horizontal lines through the monitor around 18 months after purchase. This was such a bummer. I swapped the thunderbolt cord out and used an HDMI to connect my equipment and it was still there. Most of the screen is blurry and doesn't go away.

LG 32UP550, used with Radeon RX570 Windows PC on display port jack, and Intel UHD 620 graphics notebook(extended desktop) on HDMI 2. The best use of 4K technology is for a monitor, giving plenty of realestate for multitasking, whether that be programming, music composition, or other content production. This monitor is bright, sharp, with good contrast and a wide color gamut. In a word LUSH. The screen has a nice matt finish, and is viewable from wide enough angles for both content production and consumption. Highlights: Ergonomic height adjustment Displayport cable included! Nice speakers for a monitor User friendly OSD and joystick controller Everything just works! Rear jacks are oriented properly, this makes easy access and a solid connection. Things I didn't try: Displayport over USB-C, though it does charge my USB-C phone at turbo power, and can access USB storage devices connected to the other USB-A ports. HDR10, Don't have a Ultr HD Blu Ray player, or an Xbox one. Stuff other people complained about: The power brick is big, but that may mean cleaner power, and for a monitor that means a rock solid image! I keep the brick on the desk behind the monitor and the AC part reaches a power bar on the floor nicely. The crescent base of the monitor does look 'funky', but inside the crescent is a nice place to put your phone. Despite appearance, the monitor stand is quite solid and stable.

What I like about this monitor is, it can pivot on portrait mode although only in clockwise direction.
