Vegetarian fake meat
Been eating Companion vegetarian products for decades. Less pieces and more broth these days. The price also balloon. Back in the days used to be a competitive Chinese canned vegetarian product under Mei Lin brand.

It did not agree with my system.
I got sick after just sampling this and would like a refund. I heated it first then I was tossing and turning all night with hypertension didn’t get any rest until late next afternoon after eating soup and sandwich.

Mock duck is one of my favorite vegetarian foods
When I first encountered mock duck at a restaurant, I thought it was great, but I didn’t know if the “mock” meant it was vegetarian or a mix of meats to imitate duck (like mock shrimp). When I learned it was vegetarian, I realized I could happily become a vegetarian. —Will (Emma’s husband)

The cans were really beat up and everybody seems to have that issue but that doesn't really matter I guess since they're still edible in beat up cans. The texture isn't too bad and it really looks like duck when you stir fry it. The taste is a little weird as of my having tried to prepare one can so far. I'm not totally giving up yet on finishing the shipment but I didn't finish eating the first can after preparing it. With this sort of protein the first try not going well isn't necessarily the end. I'm hoping it just means I haven't found the best way to prepare it yet. Having said all this it's way overpriced.
