Good value, sturdy construction, very functional
What I like:I think the construction of this is sturdy. The metal hanging brackets are sturdy enough to hole my ironing board, iron, spray starch and spray water bottle. I was able to hang this on the inside of the closet door in my sewing room. It is great because it gets everything out of the way. I did not want to drill holes in my plaster to hang the ironing board and iron, nor do I have the wall space for that. I like the metal hanging brackets because I could not attach directly to my door without adding a support because I have a two-panel door. I especially like that my ironing board does not swing when I open the door. The ironing board is actually held very well in place. In my previous house I had installed a similar holder on a closet door using screws, and my ironing board would swing and hit the door every time I opened the door. I ended up attaching felt pads to the metal stand do that my door would not get scratched. I am very happy with this purchase. It is a reasonable price and very functional. What may present an issue for some people:-First, if the top of your door is too tight fitting in the frame, the hanging brackets may not allow the door to close. I did not have that problem. But if you have a six-panel door or other solid door, you might be able to screw the holder directly to the door. The screw holes are 4 1/4" on center horizontally and 4 1/2" on center vertically.-Second, the metal hangers that attach to the door are really short. So the top of the iron is very close to hitting the door frame. There is about 12" in height clearance from where the iron sits in the holder to the top of the door. My iron is 11 1/4" high.-Finally, an over-sized iron may not fit into the holder. The rubber-coated iron holder is very rigid. The back of the iron holder is 5 1/4" wide, and the front is 3" wide, and it is about 3 7/8" deep. The water reservoir/handle on my iron fits very snugly. I have to tilt the iron slightly to get it in, but once in, it fits perfectly.

Good, Simple, Functional
This is a good, simple, and functional piece of equipment. It does as described, including two mount options. I chose to mount it to the wall instead of hooking it over the door and it's holding up very well (w/ 4 mount screws, it's quite solid). I'm not exactly Bob Vila or Martha Stewart, but I found the ironing board hooks to be cross-functional as a hand towel holder. Not advice, but I will say the iron itself stores well and seems to be distanced enough from the wall to not burn the house down while it cools. One drawback, as of right now, the picture on the product page shows the iron's power cord tucked underneath, but truth be told, there isn't a section/hook to store the cord. Instead, I mounted two utility hooks directly beneath the holder so I can keep the cord from dangling off the wall and onto the floor.

it holds up pretty well not sure how it would hold on a ...
I hung this behind my linen closet door. I thought that hanging having it hanging over the door would be unattractive so I decided to use the screws and drill them into the door. My door is not solid wood, but it's not hollow either. I believe it some kind of compressed plywood. Anyway, it holds up pretty well not sure how it would hold on a hollow door. The only thing that is wrong with this item is that my iron is a little bit too big for it it . But it doesn't really bother me, because three compartments are pretty handy I use one for spray starch one for a giant lint roller, and the middle where the iron should be, I put a bottle of febreze. I put my iron on the the shelf in the linen closet. Not a huge deal. Even though my iron doesn't fit I still think the three compartments are very useful it's not difficult to pick up my ironing board and put it onto the hook. I highly recommend this item way better than having my iron leaning in a corner

Nice and works.
Worked nicely mounted on the inside of my linen closet wall. Held the iron and my ironing board, along with a spray bottle and a can of spray starch. The mounting holes are perfect.

Sturdy over-door storage
Got this for a friend who needed to store her ironing board close to her washer and dryer but didn't have much room. Fits nicely over the door, very sturdy, and being able to store a couple of cans or spray bottles is convenient. She loves it.

Love the convenience, but lacking in other areas
I was surprised to see that this ironing board holder was as weak as it turned out to be. I do have a larger size ironing board (as I'm a quilter.) However, it's not gigantic. The first time I used it, it pulled the two pieces of metal that go over the top of the door into a stretched out shape. I pushed them back in to shape, but have realized why it has the holes in the top. I guess with the heavier boards, it's necessary to screw them in to the top of the door. Also, our iron is a tight fit. If I try to pull it out, it also pulls the holder off the door. I'm not thrilled with it, but it does it's job. It's just a bit difficult getting the board and iron off of the holder when I need it.

Great product...with a minor issue
Exact what I needed to store my iron and mini ironing board. Previously had it in my linen cabinet, but I had to put it on the floor, and lean them sideways so they would fit. Decided to try an over-the-door option to free up some space. I ended up putting it on the closet door in my bedroom instead of my bathroom door to give it more clearance from the wall. Only issue I had was that it is designed to hold t-leg style, not the type that I own. I need that going in, but I found a way to make it work. Only time will tell if it will hold long term. It would be nice if they had an optional piece to add to adapt to hold the U-leg board.
