I used this product to protect the boards on my trailer so they don't rot over time because it is left outside. Before applying it, I applied their adhesion primer after pressure washing. It looks great. I am not sure about its durability as it is only been on a few weeks, but it appears that it will stand the test of time. I used the beige color to reflect the sun. The sand like particles in the mix makes it completely non-slip. I would recommend this product, but use their primer and roller to apply properly.

Dried very quickly so be careful not to keep container open while working. Customer service is awesome!!!!! Wish all companies handled customers like they do. Would highly recommend just for that! Thank you

Material goes down really well, it’s thick and durable. I used it for the inside of my aluminum boat and it worked very well. Just need to make sure that you mix it really good with wood mixer or paddle on a drill.

Hmm, first scare was a badly smashed can, from shipping. But it was the bottom so, no leaks. Used a stirrer from the hardware store and got it mixed really well. First go at it and it went on kinda clumpy, too thick and slid around on the slick primer surface. Couldn't get it even enough. Decided to thin it with a little water for the second coat and it went on much better. Dries to touch fairly quickly for second coat. Coverage was adequate and looks good. Hope it holds up over the years. This application was the deck/floor boards in my boat, one gallon for an 18' Aluminum boat with wood decks.

This stuff is just awful. Almost as bad as their primer. It is without a doubt the thinnest paint I have ever used; and I've painted too many cars and almost everything else at some point or another. So I've used a lot of paint. The best way I could describe it is like a really thin gritty whitewash...like 3/4 gal water/2 egg whites/one drop of tint/1/4 gal grit. First of all there is way too much grit which sinks to the bottom of your solution within a few seconds...you absolutely have to keep rolling from the bottom of the pan to keep the grit in suspension. No matter how hard I tried, I would always wind up with way too much grit in the mix and be left with a thick slurry after a few minutes painting. The worst part is the coverage. I painted (or tried to paint) 45-50 sq ft of smooth surface inside a boat and I had to use the entire gallon just to get any coverage...four full coats as heavy as possible without applying too much grit. And I can still see through it a little, with some bleed-though also. I would have to put another half gallon on there to get good coverage...two more coats over four...for 50 sq ft. That's just crazy! I would think I just got a bad batch but I used their primer first and it was just as thin and even more difficult to use. I feel sorry for inexperienced painters spending so much for these products and trying to figure out how to use them. I'm pretty much stuck with the job I got from Tuff Coat so hopefully it will hold up. Don't make the mistake of trying their products

This product is worth not only the cost but the time and effort. Four years ago I used it to paint part of the floor on my fishing boat, 1985 crestliner commander as I had just replaced the flooring with 3/4" marine grade plywood and seriously, that paint after four years of fishing and family fun rides etc. looked like I just put it on and it held the rubber particles excellent. I now decided that I and my dad are not getting any younger, to paint and re coat all of the surfaces that we walk or step on including the bench seats. I cant say enough good about this product, in my opinion absolutely the best. I am considering using it in fact on my decks around the house. The way this product held up under sun exposure, rain, snow (Maine) being uncovered two winters just the wear and tear alone, are you kidding me this is the real deal!

works well but you have to mix it a lot before use all the rubber clumps in bottom

I think it would work great on a small cement surface. I put it on a wood ramp with spaces between the wood. It’s OK. I just want to see how long it’s going to last. It does have good traction.

A+
