Needed this for my caravan door very easy to install and very sturdy and keeps the door open very easily with a firm grip great value for money

Good low cost door catch, easy to install, only not 5 star as in stronger breezes it struggles to hold the door

Installed it on a plastic shed to hold the door open when using the dryer. Perfect for the job. It's quite sturdy too so when the wind has picked up it has been strong enough to hold the door open without any issues.

This item was great used on caravan . Value for money good told my friends about them

Spring mechanism is really stiff and loud in use, though looks ok and holds the door. Was a little cumbersome to fit.

Very good quality. We have a fire door that is very heavy. Tried many door stops nothing has held the door open until we bought this product. We can now have the living room door open fantastic item.

Bought 2 of these within 2 years for the same door, but now replaced with a different product. I thought first breakage was a fluke, but same thing happened again: when it works, it holds the door in place robustly by a heavily-sprung keep....but the springs decide not to co-operate, the 'jaws' of the keep remain firmly closed and the head of the door-stay shatters against them. Doesn't seem to matter how well you lubricate the springs. Avoid.

Was bought for the patio doors, and was nice and easy to fit. Didn't handle hot/cold well and became brittle as it weathered so it shattered unfortunatly but in it's defence it's not advertised for outside use.
