I have grandchildren who love to play with water balloons
I have grandchildren who love to play with water balloons, but are too young to tie them. I have a degenerative disorder affecting the joints of my hands that prevents me from tying the balloons for them - this product is the perfect answer. It works as described, ties the balloons off quickly and easily.

Best on the market!
As a professional balloon artist ,I had to comment on the quality of this item. Is is designed the best because it fits your fingers in the kindest way . It is smooth with no rough spots at all, which is important because the tiniest scratch on the balloon may cause an air leak. I think the placement of the space to slide a ribbon thru ( that enables one to tie directly on your line or ribbon) -is especially handy when making a helium arch. And it is made in the USA! It is well worth the extra few dollars!

Good for knotting lots of balloons. Not useful for a few here and there.
The shipping was good, product as described, no problems. The device is easy to use; there are tons of videos on YT. The product is harder to use if your hands/fingers are small. The design of the unit could be improved for certain - but it is useful, and better than similar items on the market, and it's all that's available. Things to remember - when you slide the balloon off the unit, you do have to pull it hard so that the rubber tightens on itself; otherwise, the balloon leaks air slowly. If you are planning to use this to tie off balloons for an event the day before, you have to ensure you pull the balloon off the device and yank the rubber hard so that the knot you make is really tight. I used this to inflate 200 balloons for my daughter's birthday party 24 hours before, and the next day, several balloons were just a little smaller and sort of crinkled looking because they had lost air because I hadn't tightened the knots enough. Also, if you use a string or twine or whatever to knot your balloons in a row, it gets pretty hard to hold everything and blow and knot them off after the 5th or 6th balloon, especially if you are using a balloon blow up machine. The place where you hold the string has two spots, one where you can thread it through and the only way to get the string out later is to cut it, but the spot above it allows the string to slip off, so that makes it even harder. But it's a decent device to use - if you have more than 10 balloons to blow up. Your fingers will still be sore, but not as badly as if you did it without the device. A few balloons, I would still knot the old fashioned way.

Saved my poor fingers!
These things saved my fingers! We tied 4000 balloons in one night, and two of these things did the trick. It takes a couple of minutes to get the hang of the muscle memory, but after about 10 minutes of tying, the two of us were able to tie balloons in 5 seconds flat! i'm a lefty, and it was just as easy as my co-director, who was right-handed. It's worth it!

it's a little bulky. I was giving away balloons at a charity event. 750 of them all filled with helium but we had to tie them and attach strings by hand. I found loading the strings, individually into the string attachment device, to be as time consuming as tying the string on by hand. It did save my fingers from the "rope burn" type injury I have experienced in the past from tying many, many balloons in succession.

Works great!
I was skeptical about how easy this would be to use. But this was the best eight bucks I've spent a long time! It was easy and painless. No blisters on your fingers or issues holding the balloon. I did helium balloons regular balloons balloon with ribbons and it was all a breeze. Would definitely recommend

With the 12" balloons that I had, after inflating ...
With the 12" balloons that I had, after inflating the neck was too short to wrap around the tool. It is much easier and faster to tie the balloons by hand. I can see where it would work with ballons with a longer neck but would not work with my balloons. Mesha 12" party balloons https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017R22JJS/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_4

Party saver
This tool saved my pool party. I was debating whether I should buy this or another balloon tying tool on Amazon. The other one wasnโt Prime so I went with this one. Glad I did! It worked great. I was worried because of some of the reviews, but now I canโt live without it (I throw a lot of parties). I am a healthy woman with moderately weak hands and I had no trouble tying regular balloons and oblong balloons with it.
