This is the second harness I have bought from 2 hounds. It was recommended to me by a friend and it had been worth every penny. My Shi-Poo has the harness and leash and this one I purchased in xs for my dachshund. For me there was a learning curve with how to put it on, but other than that it’s excellent!

This is the best harness for our rescue PITTIE , we’ve had others not as good. This harness has great quality of materials and ease of use. It is very easy to get on our dog and she ( Queenie ) seems to love its comfort. It also hold her very securely and easy to walk…and that’s saying something, she’s about 51 lbs. of pure muscle!

I ordered a size small and I wish the straps were 1 inch thick since my dog is a meatier girl. The construction and colors are so cute. I love the way this harness looks. As far as functionality goes, it helps me control her pulling, but I have not seen improvement in her walking skills. I use it with the 2 hounds training leash and still have not seen much improvement. It is a great harness, but I do not see the benefits that they claim as far as walking obedience goes.

Got this for my cane Corso it seemed like all the types of harnesses would never fit her until I got this one it is kinda big on her but at least I’m not choking her anymore with her collar because she’s always running for a cat or something not a fan of the colors but it works👍

I really liked the harness, however, my puppy ate through it in about five minutes. I bought a second one because this is the brand our trainer recommends, but she ate through it again in a flash. I want to be able to leave the harness on her unattended long enough to run into another room and grab treats or something, so unfortunately I didn’t buy a third. I bought a different brand (it has straps and neoprene like padding) and she doesn’t even try to eat it, so I’m thinking this one was uncomfortable or a bad fit and that caused her to chew it. I feel like harnesses are so individual to the dog, so I don’t think this is a bad harness, it was just a bad fit for my particular dog.

The harness is really great and tough, and the colors are nice. I got the smallest thinking that they didn’t really mean 15lbs minimum, and it is a bit too big for my 10lbs pup. She does really well on a leash so it’s not a big deal. She started chewing it the first day I had it on her while she was in her crate (separation anxiety), and while it started to fray, it hasn’t gotten worse. If you have a SUPER chewer, make sure it doesn’t fit loose enough for them to get in their mouth. Would buy again. The leash I got from the same company was way too heavy (the buckles) so I returned it, but that was good quality too.

We have a standard poodle and a lab/shepherd originally I was gaga for the pet safe harness but it turned into having to adjust it every single walk. Which was wild to me because the dog I had it on only pulls if I'm not the one walking him. The harness was to get him used to the harness if it was ever needed. Yet it still needed constant adjustment.I kept seeing ads for this two hounds one and decided to try it. At this point we had foster failed and the timing couldn't have been better. This harness is built so well. I feel you get your money's worth. It isn't constantly needing adjustment and it works in a pinch.I don't think something like this should replace actually putting in the work to bond with your dog and train them but it definitely is great if you'd like to walk a reactive dog who's still on their journey.

This company knows how to make a good harness. My standard poodle has a very deep narrow chest. This harness is jointed so it flexes with the dog as it moves. I knew I had it adjusted perfectly when she stopped fussing with it. It prevents pulling with gentle pressure if you’re using it right and the martingale at the front gently turns the dog. I have purchased many harnesses through my dog ownership. This is an excellent harness, she wears it all day long. If you want a matching lead, you can buy that separately. Which I did and don’t regret. Top it off, everyone notices my dogs harness. And asks who makes it and where they can get one.

I have used 2hound harnesses on my dogs before, but this one is stunning As well as the usual great design and comfort I have come to expect from the 2Hound Freedom Harness.
