A Fairy Tale For Mums As Well!
I bought this book with the intention of reading it to my 7year old daughter. After she had read it by herself THREE times she suggested I should borrow it! What a beautiful story. A modern fairy tale that incorporates all the magical elements of a traditional fairy story whilst also addressing such sensitive issues as child death and seperated parents. Featuring Snowdrop, a traditional petal-clad fairy and Cammie, a tartan-clad Wee Man, this book is an absolute delight and I would recommend it to all young girls - and their mums. A tear-jerker with a thought-provoking but very satisfying ending, this book has something for everyone.

Fairy Dust (Fairies (MacMillan))
This was bought as a gift for a 6 year old girl and was chosen based on the great reviews it got on Amazon. The feedback so far is that she loves it and has had the story read to her several times already and it is now one of her favourites.

Fairy Dust
Fairy Dust was a very good book for younger readers. Most adults should read this to their child before bed.

A review by Jaaziah wells-francis
Do you like books that are heart-warming but exiting at the same time? Then Fairy Dust is the book for you!!!!!!!!This tells you about a young girl called Rosie who began to beleive in faires after an old lady tells her they are real. But Rosie is not sure her mum thinks fairy are not real. Unitl she sees something on top of the moor.Could it be that Roise is about to find out the secret of Fairy Dust?If you like Gwyenth Rees then you'll love Fairy Dust!I would defentily rate 5 stars.

A sick book about children dying
This book is not appropriate for children. It is all about children and fairies dying. None of this is mentioned in the blurb, we were expected a nice bedtime story about fairies, not this sick book about children dying.

Old and aged book
I am giving low rating, not because of the book content. But the copy we received is very poor quality and seems old and aged. It's definitely not worth the price. I paid 150/-

A pleasant read, even for this older guy.
I guess I'm in my second childhood. This book is supposedly for 7-9 year olds. I don't know any 7-9 year olds, so I don't know what they like. But this 63 year old guy liked it quite a bit. The story is interesting (though I prefer how Tinkerbell - yes, I am a Tinkerbell fan - described where new fairies come from). It is simple language, as befits its target audience. But I don't think that it "talks down" to the reader. It is a fun, relaxing, and sometimes a bit funny. Oh, just to balance this, I also like hard sci-fi, mysteries, steampunk, and urban fantasy (a bit iffy on this last).
