Please read! Before ordering!!
The product works. You people who return it are probably incorrectly installing. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT YOU DO NOT MOVE THE NEW ACTUATOR AND DO NOT ADJUST THE CONTROLS TO THE A/C IN THE MIDDLE OF REPLACEMENT. You'll know your part its new if it arrives centered. DO NOT PLUG IT IN AND APPLY POWER NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED IN THE VEHICLE.. These have a very narrow tolerance band. Example : when properly installed and connected and powered in the vehicle, the computer is looking for a resistance value in the actuator (a value am not sure of). The cars a/c will command the actuator to move to its predetermined expected end point resistance. The the actuator, has a unlimited resistance points so it will continue to drive until resistance is met if not installed. Goin beyond those tolerances basically breaks the new actuator. MOVE THE CAR'S vent MECHANISM TO ALIGNMENT WITH THE ACTUATOR. ONCE MOUNTED AND INSTALLED PLUG IN allow the cars a/c to calibrate its self to the new actuator and you should be done. Move the controls any time you like. Opening a "NEW" actuator and seeing the alignment marks off is a bad sign (see pictures). I got a bad one someone botched the install.

I Have AC Again
I ordered this because my heat was stuck on wide open and I couldn't get the AC to work. I heard a constant clicking sound under the dash. It turns out the original diverter was stuck in the heat on position. I removed the three screws holding the cover on and then unplugged and removed the old one. I installed this one and tested the controls. I now have both heat and AC. Having only heat on a 90 degree Virginia Beach day was not fun. I replaced the cover and was all done in about an hour. I didn't even have to make any adjustments on it. Now if it lasts a couple years I'll be happy.

Works great
My AC was blowing warm air on one side of the vehicle. It Was driving me nuts! Put this little part in now my entire vehicle is nice and Frosty cold. And nice and toasty warm in the winter. What I like best about this part is the very reasonable price I also like how fast it got here. I got nothing but good to say about it.
