(They were the only mock necks I could find in the summer.) The fabric is beautiful--really soft against my skin, and thick enough to not be too clingy. It is not terribly stretchy, but does have enough to give me a little feminine curve without being too tight. I get compliments for my "cute pastor outfits" every time I wear these.The fit is a little slim for the size, so if you are not sure go a little bigger. And note that the XL I bought fits a little looser than the 1X (women's size) for some reason. They come to a few inches below my waist, so don't expect them to cover your bottom, but I find the length is very flattering because I can leave it out instead of tucking it in and you still see almost all of my skirt. The black shirts I bought were a soft black, not inky black. I have washed them a good 8-10 times now and the color seems to be holding well,I am very pleased with my tops (I came back for more) and I intend to get some long sleeved ones for winter. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful SOFT tops from UltraSoft *by C***L on Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2017* Well, this is my seventh mock turtle top from Ultra Softs by National. I love to wear these alone or under a blouse for accent. These tops are very well made, are extremely soft, good fabric weight and just plain wonderful. I have not been able to find mock turtle shirts anywhere in stores and they are an essential part of my wardrobe. I am so happy that I discovered UltraSofts by National. I have very sensitive skin and these tops are just perfect. They do not itch at all. The tag is printed in the fabric and non-irritating. Now, they do run a little small if you are used to 1X being quite a large size. It is just right for me....I normally wear size 16, so this fits just right. Not really loose and not really tight. There may be a tiny bit of shrinkage because they are part cotton and part polyester, so you would want to keep this in mind. I have not noticed much shrinking, but I wash them in cold water and just start the dryer on low and let them air dry for the remaining time. I find this works well to keep the shape, avoid wrinkles and no noticeable shrinkage. Thank you, National, for a great product. Hope to find one of these in red some day, too! Great purchase. I read every review, everyone loved it. NOT what I expected!! The 3x DOES NOT fit like a 3x it is tight! The neck hole is so small I thought I pull a seam! It hit right below belly button!! I normally wear a 2x but reading size and reviews I decided 3x. Well i should have gotten a 7x! And it is so thick!!! I live in Louisiana and wanted something I can wear all year, layered when needed. Well its warm enough alone! Ill swear in summer!Way too small! Way too short! And way too thick!! So future buyers beware. I got some from Roman's, now those were tops! Unfortunately they dont carry anymore so I had to settle.
