Awesome little animal set! You get 32 different animals, for the price, you can’t beat it! Just a note, they’re aren’t proportional in size to each other - the squirrel is bigger than the black bear. Also, the black bear and gorila have red eyes, the fox has a weird nose, the camel and leopard are yellow, the frilled lizard has blue ears, one of the dears is peach in color, so, colors are not always accurate, which I thought would bother me more, but most of the animals look surprisingly similar to the real ones, making this set a great tool for teaching toddlers all the different animals, and the best part, my 2 and half year old LOVES them!! She plays with them every day and throughout the day. Every time I look at her she has one of the animals in her hands - or mouth 🙄 They’ve been with us to church, grocery store, car rides, keeping her well entertained, and we’ve had them for a couple of weeks now, so, this a great purchase! It also comes with a tree, a few bushes, fences enough for two smaller enclosures or one big one, and a little booklet with some info about the animals, which will come in handy when kids are older. Microscopic print though 😒 but we’ll manage reading it, haha! No weird smell when I opened the bag, and only some of the animals I consider to be too small for my 10 month old to put in his mouth. My younger girls (9 and 3) sit in waiting rooms with me for several hours per week while one of their brothers has his therapies. Small sets like this help them stay appropriately busy, and other children often join in. We have several Toob sets but were looking for a bit more variety. We didn't take count, but it looks to be accurate at 54 pieces. Yes, about 1/3 is fence, grass and tree parts but kids who love this stuff will enjoy setting up their zoo or farm or wildlife preserve with the pieces. The animals all stand up, which is great. Some ended up without eyes, but that is easily fixable, and the proportions are off, but kids generally don't care all that much. It comes with an Animal Encyclopedia foldout with descriptions and information on each animal, but even though ours was billed as a "jungle set" we got a bag that just says Animals and there is a wide variety. Ways we use small animals in our home: use water table and pieces of nature to set up habitats, use them in kinetic sand or dried rice sensory bins, build them shelter and biomes out of LEGO, or put in a small zip-closing purse to bring with us to waiting rooms and appts. This set was a good purchase for the money.

These are so cute! The grass and trees feel really cheap, but the animals themselves feel great. They are smaller than expected.

Good, I bought it for my daughter's school project.

Despite reading the size, these came even smaller than advertised. Beware if you are buying this for a younger child or if your kiddo has a younger sibling - that being said, my son LOVES playing with these and he’s old enough I’m confident he won’t put them in his mouth. These have great color and they come with a fun little booklet with facts about the animals. These are a lot of fun for kids that are a little bit older, definitely 2.5 plus. Just because they didn’t come as advertised I wouldn’t buy them again personally.

These were perfect for what I needed and they are great to play with. My daughter loves to play “zoo” and these are perfect for that. Also loved the variety of animals.

Tons of animals! Has a cute little fence too. Probly not best for anyone under age 3 as the pieces are a little small, but they’re very life like and a good learning tool.
