If you are looking for a lightweight HDMI adapter to carry with you in your laptop case, this is not the one for you.If you have a meeting room with a large monitor/TV and want an adapter/cable that is superbly well built to ensure most devices can connect effortlessly, then this is the one for you.The cables are long enough, well made and worked without fault from both a surface pro and a MacBook Pro.As others have mentioned there is the need for separate USB power, and as long as your projector/monitor can handle this you are good to go.

If only all laptops came with HDMI! But USB-C is becoming increasingly common (including on my Chromebook), so a device like this has become essential. Boasting Mini DisplayPort as well as USB-C and HDMI connections, this will make it possible for almost any laptop to connect to a meeting room projector (or, indeed, anything with an HDMI input). Power is provided via USB-A from the laptop, so there's no need for a separate adaptor. And the lead is nice and long.Excellent quality product for business or home.

This is a great idea for a meeting room. The cable connecting to the projector is plenty long and the multi-connector head has enough slack between it and the connection box so that it doesn't strain the laptops connected. The only real issue is the need for seperate USB power. As long as your projector has a USB port that can handle it you'll be fine, but otherwise you'll have to find a USB PSU to plug in close enough not to cause a trip hazard.

Der Belkin digitaler AV-Adapter – Multiport/HDMI-Display-Adapter ist besonders gut als mobile Lösung geeignet. Ausprobiert habe ich ihn einmal mit meinem etwas "älteren" Lenovo Flex 2 über die HDMI-Schnittstelle, und einmal mit meinem aktuellen Galaxy Book S über die USB-C-Schnittstelle. Gerade beim Book S sieht man ja ganz gut wo die Reise mit den Anschlüssen teilweise hingeht. Denn das Book S hat ja nur noch zwei USB-C-Anschlüsse. Keine Spur von HDMI und Co.Hier verrichtet der Adapter wirklich gute Arbeit, Bilder und Videos werden (inkl. Ton) einwandfrei übertragen. Anzeigemedium war bei mir einmal ein Sony-TV und einmal ein LG-Beamer.Das einzige was dann doch etwas gestört hat waren die jeweils ungenutzten Kabel vom Adapter. Dadurch das die Kabel recht kurz und vergleichsweise steif sind, stören sie etwas beim Anschluss des benötigten Kabels. Wobei, 'etwas' ist schon recht harmlos formuliert, würde ich das zuhause als Dauerlösung nutzen wollen, würde ich mich wohl nach einer anderen Lösung umsehen. Aber mit Blick auf das mobile Arbeiten ist der Adapter sicher eine gute Lösung und vor allem funktioniert er so wie er soll.

Nel corso del tempo, sia nell’ambito del programma Vine che non, ho avuto la possibilità di recensire svariati articoli della Belkin, ed in questo caso, così come gli altri, il livello tecnico-qualitativo si è sempre rilevato altissimo. Detto ciò, dato che questo adattatore multiporta è davvero comodo e di qualità, il prezzo di vendita di ben 134 euro al momento della recensione (ottobre 2020),è secondo me giusto, anche se purtroppo lo colloca in una fascia di mercato troppo di nicchia.Peccato perchè effettivamente facilita (e non poco) la connessione tra dispositivi mobile notebook, smartphone ecc…) con monitor o apparecchi di proiezione, garantendo sempre una connessione stabile e di qualità. Questo va detto perchè in passato ho già recensito dispositivi simili senza rimanere soddisfatto perchè in effetti c’era sempre qualcosa dal punto di vista tecnico che non andava, costringendomi alla infallibile procedura di reset manuale (spegnimento accensione).Peraltro cosa non di poco conto, e che incide ovviamente nella mia valutazione finale, questo prodotto della Belkin supporta senza esitazioni la risoluzione video in 4k, e questo lo rende adatto anche ad un utilizzo ricreativo oltre a quello classico professionale.Dal punto di vista qualitativo inutile dirlo siamo davvero ad alti livelli, il cavo principale è lungo ben 2,4 metri ( l’alimentazione USB è però più corta, siamo ad 1,2 metri) , una distanza sufficiente per un utilizzo comodo in qualunque situazione, cosi come ben fatti sono i cavi dei 4 diversi attacchi che grazie alla maggiore rigidità, ed alla presenza di magneti, restano ben fermi ed allineati senza fastidiosi grovigli.Se lavorate in multipostazione, e quindi avete necessità di sfruttare con una certa frequenza tutte le uscite, è il prodotto che fa per voi, se invece operate sempre sulla stessa porta, potete tranquillamente prendere un prodotto meno complesso (e meno costoso). La vocazione di questo cavo è infatti a mio avviso prettamente lavorativa/professionale, utile per presentazioni in cui più relatori hanno la necessità di proiettare alternandosi, o se si lavora avvalendosi di più dispositivi diversi.
