This is an excellent resource for any parent! The kid is fed, changed and happy....now what do you do? Play a game! This book has so many activities that are appropriate for each developmental age. It helps you work on skills that the children are probably starting to explore at each stage. For example, it gives activities to help the child strengthen muscles that are used in rolling over and later on activities for walking. It also has activities that focus on problem solving skills. I have the Baby Play book and got this one for one of my expecting friends. This book is basically a combination of Baby Play & the Toddler Play book. I like that they combined it, so that you don't have to buy two books. And you have activities to do with children over a year old. The only complaint I have (and not a big deal) is that the photos are outdated! But I dont mind, because the activities are awesome.

Good tips I like it, practical ideas and nice for singing with your little baby. And very good for develoopping the skills of your child

I love this book for ideas to play with my baby. It has tons of ideas for simple play and cognitive development. Some of my favorites include pinwheel play, beach ball balance, Pom Pom play, ideas for rattles, and all the wonderful rhymes and songs! I can't wait to see what the next section has in store for my baby :)

I was looking for a book to help me play with my newborn baby, and the games should be interesting for my almost 3 years old daughter as well. I have everything I wanted in this book, and my girl also likes the pays inside. The book is in very good condition and looks new. I am very happy with my purchase.

The presentation is nice and it is divided into ages but there's not more than a couple play ideas for each age group. Honestly, they aren't earth shatteringly unique, either. It's basically things to shake in front of their face and different ways to bounce them on your knee. You'd probably save a lot of money if you just Googled ideas or spied on other Moms on the playground and stole their ideas.
