A little goes a long way. It is not greasy and has a matte finish. I'm a female with a pixie cut, and I use less than a pea size amount on DRY hair. For a messy look, I rub it between my hands until it's tacky and then run them through my hair. For specific texturing on the top, I put a tiny bit between my fingers and rub them together until it's tacky. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Hair Wax *by K***I on December 3, 2018* My kids have tried so many different brands of hair wax and they've decided that this one is the best. Not tacky, nor greasy, and you don't need much. Rinses off easily with water but holds shape throughout the day. Their hair still looks good when they come home from school. Small and pricey, but well worth it. I've tried several other products from Got2Be and Crew (which are cheaper but much larger). However, on the plus side, SSANAI does provide an all day hold and a truly matte look. Would be happier if the price point was closer to $10.FYI - I have straight, thick Asian hair and I use this product for a slick back but casual look.
