Fast, Quiet, Small. Some Games too.
11th Gen i5, 16GB DDR4, Intel Iris Xe Graphics. and 500GB M.2 SSD Hard drive:It's eerily quiet and has not heated up. The CPU idle temperature averages about 40 C which isnt bad at all considering all the components are crammed into such a tight space.I added a spare SSD drive which slid right into a built in pocket that's inside and use one of those free back up programs to keep all the Windows library folders (Pics, Docs, etc) on a timed backup just in case the M.2 main drive every goes belly up. (Ive read this M.2 drive isnt the fastest compared to others but it seems just fine at the moment)Gaming-wise, I was able to run Portal 1 and 2 at 60fps and feel this might be topping it out. I dont think it'll smoothly handle anything heavier than Half Life 2. It isnt meant for newer FPS games of course.I ran a few Edge Browser tabs of 4k video simultaneously, no problems. (I didnt install any other browsers, just keeping everything stock as this is for my mom). Multiple Office apps don't even make a dent in performance.Beelink makes a few cheaper models but I wanted this thing to at least play a few FPS games from the 2005 era and the 11th Gen i5 with Iris Gfx during the time of purchase is the best I could get under $400. (Actually on sale for $327.00 + tax. )

Needs more USB 3.0 ports.
It is unreasonable that a current mini PC with this good configuration only has 4 USB-A ports and 50% of them are 2.0. All ports could be at least 3.0.

Fantastic little machine
The machine was easy to setup and windows updates processed without error. From out of the box to working with the machine only took about 30 minutes. Most of that was downloading and installing software that I use. I use the machine mostly to process SQL and MySQL databases. It was handing massive files without any problems.

fast small and soundless
It works just fine. It is fast, small and soundless. This little unit delivers for general computing tasks. I have had video boards bigger than this unit.Once you have tried small, you will never want big again.. I added a USB C bar which is longer than the computer.

Seamless with Windows 11
I wanted to use this for a good bit of time before reviewing. This worked seamlessly with the Windows 11 update. I mostly use this for a lot of multitasking/remote work. There has been no overheating despite 12 hours of straight use. This is a small enough package that it fit in my mailbox at delivery.I wish the power cord were longer so I could reach the surge protector which I was keeping on the floor. You have to connect external speakers if your monitors don't already have them built in. I have this PC hooked up to 2 monitors. So why this Beelink instead of a laptop or a traditional desktop? I already have all the peripherals (monitors, keyboard, mouse, webcam), and I wanted this to stay off the floor to be kid and pet friendly while maintaining a small footprint on my workspace. The majority of my work is stationary so no need for another laptop, and I didn't want to fuss with a laptop battery that will flop within a couple of years. The features of the Beelink (speed, memory) were superior to laptops I looked at in a similar price range.

Great little computer.
I'm trying to get away from the desktop computer thing and now with these fast little computers, I can get the performance I like and don't need a big footprint. I mounted it on the back of my 32" monitor and it works great. It comes with Win 11 pro loaded, I just set it up and I am up and running.

Low power consumption and great performance!
This mini pc consumes from 4w to 10w on lite office tasks when using linux. The fan can be only heard at bios startup, then it is really silent unless you go beyond the 25w recommended TDP. The gpu can be configured for gaming profile in the bios which assigns around 2-3gb of ram to it making it perform pretty well for most casual games at 1080p with medium/high settings and for the new heavy AAA ones at 720p. The TDP of the cpu is configurable on bios from 10w to 25w but on linux with ryzenadv utility one can easily crank it to 50w TDP to get additional performance, but I wouldnt advice doing that since it will shorten the lifespan of the equipment. With default configuration the geekbench score can reach 6000+ which for comparison is 2x faster than the older FX 8350 Bulldozer that consumed much more energy. So far pretty happy with this piece of equipment, even if not latest amd zen tech this baby performs wonderfully on every task I have thrown at it while been energy efficient.

After 9 months of light use the motherboard is dead - Customer support would not respond
Initial review:The specs on this are great for such a little device, but I expected it to last more than nine months. I have reached out to support in three different ways, but I cannot get a response. Unless something changes with their support I do not think this is a good device for anyone to purchase. They need to replace my device while it is still under warranty. If they do contact me and replace it, I will update this review.Update:I did finally got a hold of someone through the Beelink website. It was a very long process, but after several weeks and quite a few email they did get me a new in box replacement. I am upgrading my review to three stars as I still question the longevity of this product and to still reflect the difficulty of getting support with a PC under warranty.

Random Restarts
Which can be dangerous for important work. Otherwise this works great. Too bad for this flaw that makes it untrustworthy.

Sond Jack problem -
Bought this computer two times, going to a third so I can manage to receive on that doesn't have a problem with its audio jack. I'm insisting on it because it is a good computer, but this problem keeps happening. I'm really tired of it.Amazon is the worst. I wrote to them so I will have a guarantee to receive a working computer this time and they told I would, but how can they know if they told me that they can't test the computer before sending it to me? Until when will I have to continue buying the same computer with the same problem??Also, amazon packing is horrible and the last one got here with the package open. I waist of time and resources, really.

Great mini PC until it stops working!
I just received this mini PC on Friday, March 25th and it was an amazing system for the first few hours: Very quick to boot-up and update, loaded with Windows 11 Pro, small formfactor, etc. One thing I did notice, my system does not have a TF card slot on the side (why is it shown on the Amazon product page???).Unfortunately, a few short hours after finally setting the system up and loading it with my applications, the mini PC died on me. I can no longer turn ON the mini PC, despite trying various different things. Now the power LED simply blinks once when pressed and nothing happens. I've removed all peripherals from the system, disconnected/reconnected the power supply and measured the power supply output voltage with a multi-meter: The problems seems to be a hardware failure with the mini PC.I've contacted BeeLink for support ([email protected]) on Friday, but I have not recieved any response, despite the claim on the Amazon product page saying "We offer 1 year free warranty, and 7 Days/ 24 hours serving." I will give them until Monday to get a response, but after that I will have no other option but send the mini PC will be back to Amazon for a refund.Too bad, the product looks great and would be an almost perfect fit for my needs (missing TF card slot), but its quality is just too poor.

Great general use - and nothing else...
Got the i5-8279U with 16gb. The intent was to setup a trading station, and run either a single large 4k or dual monitors. Unfortunately I couldn't get my ultra-wide 34" monitor to interface because beelink hasn't completed the drivers for odd 21:9 ratios. I was stuck using 16:9 ratio. The box itself is well built, and it comes ready with a pre-wired bay to install a second drive. It is not a games/rendering machine, as the Intel Iris 655 is somewhat pathetic. Don't buy this for "real" games.REMINDER: 4k resolution is only possible at 30hz! This seems to be missed by so many people that are seduced by the 4k promise. It's stated in the advertisements. You won't be projecting/wathcing UHD movies in an optimal environment.Keep in mind, tech support is almost non-existent and located outside of North America. If you're buying one of these, you should be somewhat technically competent in loading up a PC, installing drivers, etc.Sometimes you'll get a response in a few days, other times no response at all. Beelink loses two stars for their tech service. The included 16gb DDR4 has proven to be well suited to my tasks of stock trading, and general financial analysis. I've had no issues with large spreadsheets, word processing, web surfing, mapping software, backtest analysis, etc.Just to re-iterate, this is a budget general purpose computer - and a very good one.. If you want to do any sort of graphical or gaming stuff (light stuff I might add), look to the Ryzen 7 based models - or just spend the dough and get a real desktop machine with a real graphics card.On Userbenchmark this combo netted an 83% Desktop rating as an "Aircraft carrier", just two positions from the top. It's gaming and workstation score was 19% or "Surfboard", just a single position from the very bottom. Hope that gives you an idea of its suitability for what you want to do with it.A nice feature is an included metal bracket which allows you to mount the mini-pc to the vesa holes on the back of your monitor. It works ok on the bracket.Love the computer, just don't like the tech support.

Only worked for a few hours
It seemed great out of the box but after setting it all up and getting windows up-to-date, it crashed. I rebooted it and it seemed to work again but then after a while it crashed again. Eventually, it started to crash very quickly and then it stopped booting altogether. It was a frustrating evening of rebooting and crashing. Needless to say, I have returned the purchase. I have bought Beelink before and that PC worked without issue so it appears that there is a quality issue; too bad it was so promising to start.
