Perfect alternative for Synology DS1821+ NAS
Perfect fit to expand memory in Synology DS1821+ NAS. Although not officially supported by Synology, this is a cost-effective alternative that appears to perform well and passes memory tests. DSM 7.0.1 does warn that it is not officially supported, however it seems to be safe to ignore the message.

Works with Synology DS1621+ .. Great savings with one caveat
Added this to my DS1621+ and works fine on DSM 7.1. I did get one email from my disk station: "Detected non-Synology recommended memory module configurations. Please select authentic Synology memory modules for better system reliability. You may have 1. Inserted non-Synology memory modules" Its not sent anymore even after reboots, performance is great for Dockers and VM's Remember to fit either single or matched pairs, don't mix RAM sizes.
