Waste of time and money
It is a book with very little quality content. The author uses hi-fi terms but never introduces the reader as to what they mean and how these actually affect the decision-making process.Even the strategies mentioned are superficial and not at all methodical or supported by examples.Do not waste your time, money and energy by buying this book.

Good material, should be written better
This book has very interesting concepts and presents them in a simple and understandable way. I love it when I can learn something new without burying myself into ton of sources and information. However, the author has some problems with structuring and fluent writing. I don't know if he is a native speaker or not, but the text just doesn't flow naturally in some places. That doesn't mean that this book is not worthy of reading, it absolutely is. It is just a shame that such interesting material and clearly vast knowledge that author has isn't presented better.I still recommend this book, it has valuable information and good advice how to implement critical thinking into everyday life. That is something everyone should know how to do, definitely.

become better problem solvers and also develop greater emotional intelligence in ...
The book did contain strategies and tips for critical thinking. Overall it did make me view my daily life more positively, and think more clearly. The book makes you understand how powerful your mind is, and how simple changes in the way we think can help us be more positive, become better problem solvers and also develop greater emotional intelligence in the long run. Overall the book was readable, easy to understand and contained refreshing idea about the subject. Highly recommended for people who dig success.

Didn't Get to the Content Because It Was So Poorly Written!
I admit that I didn't get past the first page, so the irony is that I have probably been affected by my own biased point of view here. However, I expect writers to pay a little more attention to grammar and style than did this author. It reads like it was written by a 12 year old. There could possibly be some good insights in this book, but the unfortunate reality is that people do judge a book by how it is written. I can handle the odd grammatical mistake if it is the exception in a good piece of writing, but if the page is littered with mistakes (as was the case with this book), I simply do not have the patience to finish it. I am sorry Ryan Cooper, but I will not finish your piece of writing. I will be more than happy to read any new editions to this book if you should write them, but I will not bother finishing this one.I understand the allure of cheap source material over more expensive options, so if anyone is looking for a good resource on the subject and they are trying to get it for a low price, I recommend Richard Paul and Linda Elder's Miniature Guide to Critical Thinking Concepts and Tools, for $3.00 on Kindle. This book is written by university professors, is concise and covers the basics of critical thinking with good grammar and style.
