The unit was an exact fit and easy to install. But it does not supply enough pellets for my smoker to stay up to temp. It used to maintain the temp exactly even in the winter.. The smoker now is about 50 degrees colder than it should be at 200 - 350 degrees. I may have to try a 3.1RPM auger motor instead.

Purchased two of these auger motors after one of mine stopped feeding reliably causing flame outs. Wanted to get two to make sure the feed speeds were identical. Traeger XL is running smoothly again.

Would have been 5 stars but at first fan blade would not spin unless I gave it a nudge. It would run fine till it stopped, then wouldn't start up. Figured out the fan bolts were torqued to tight from the factory. Once I loosened the 2 bolts a bit, problem solved. Works like a champ now.

The motors connector was different from my original motor, other than that the motor looked identical. Took the connector off my old motor and put it on the new motor. Hook it up and the fan would hardly turn and the auger did not feed the pellets into the fire pot.

This geared motor fit my older (built in 2000) Traeger when the original unit failed. Works perfectly!

I was ready to return this motor because the fan would not spin, but I decided to take the screws off and put them back again and loosen it a little bit and now is working really good.

Worked perfectly for my PitBoss grill.

Had problems with an older traeger tailgater replaced auger motor, perfect fit and now works perfectly!
