Not worth it
I bought this as I hate cutting the tomato stalks with a knife. So let's look at the good and the bad.First glance, very nice looking gadget. Looks sturdy strong and able to manage the task at hand.Feels comfortable in my hand. Feels like it could take on the most ripe of tomatoes.First attempt. Solid start. Scooped it up and spat it out in no time.Second tomato, caused a lot of jagged test on the skin of the tomato. Maybe the beauty is actually the beast?Third tomato, the whole cup bends backwards. Things where not looking good. After greasing my elbows and chalking my palms I finally bend it back to place. That was my first mistake. Never bend it back into place. You make it weaker doing so.Fourth tomato... Rip gadget. It was nice knowing you. The head fell off. It was an exaggerated version of nearly headless nick from Harry Potter. We now have decapitated corer. Don't waste your money. Just eat your tomatoes whole like a cave man

Amazing little tool
This little tool has become an essential bit of kit in my kitchen and is very useful for prepping tomatoes for chutney making etc. It removes the stalk end of the tomato so is also nice to use on salad tomatoes. I haven't tried it on strawberries yet but think it would work on them too.

Fell apart
As soon as I touched the head it flexed and fell off in my hand. The weld was barely visible. Poor quality control.
