It had foam in the box + extra protection on the corners to protect the frame itself and the plexiglass had a protector on both sides to be peeled off...it looked brand new)

**Q: I know these frames are made of composite wood.  Are they toxic and contain formeldahyde?**
A: Probably not, dont eat it.

**Q: Are the demensions from the outside of the frame or inside the edges?**
A: I bought the one marked for 24 x 36 and it is NOT from the inside edge. The inside edge measurement is 23.5" x 35.5"

If you have a poster/image with information at the edges it will be partially covered. I am having to return the ones I bought specifically because I need the full image information to be visible.

**Q: What are the measurements from the outside of the frame?**
A: The dimensions of the outside of the frame are 26.5x20.6x0.5 inches.

**Q: How wide is the border on the 24x36 frame?**
A: I bought the 18x24” sized frame. Not sure if the border is the same, but on mine it is 1-1/2”.

They come with a plastic sheet stuck to the front of them to save them from damage and scraping during transit and it worked. They were the perfect size for my 18"x24" concert posters. Pretty pricey but unless you can get kmart manufacturers to make it you'll never get it any cheaper Kmart sells giant poster size frames at $20AUD (61x91.5cm) wayyy bigger then this, thats why china is so awesome anything the price of this frame i just bought which as stated SMALLER than that kmart frame at a real custom frame company will be over $100-$200 bucks, wtf!! Also this frame size it too unique for australian measurements aswell, for years the poster i wanted to frame was left untouched, googling for the frame size i want, no options anywhere (yes i even tried amazon) But for some reason this year i tried amazon again, i found the size in the U.S AND it offered free international prime shipping Totally worth it, i dont care its pricey (over $60AUD) i can finally frame my poster and move on to other projects P.S the clips that hold the back of the frame move side to side and screwed on, this is great, push them in or out and it frees the back or locks it in Unlike other backboards the clips dont get pulled back or pushed in which is great as they can get worn out and they can break
