Be sure you know which one to get.
These books are really good for teaching and improving technique. Only complaint is that at some point the titles and numbering of the books changed so not clear which actually need to order. I have ended up with two books with very different covers and numbers but identical inside. Really annoying.

Designed for young children this exercise book(about level1) is just the job for very late beginner like myself. I have used the two previous books in my slow and tortuous. path towards competence and found them very very helpful. Each exercise is amusing and they progress in a steady way. Great for kids of all ages!

Excellent as is the whole series.
I always use this series for pupils. Recently took on a pupil who had done Grade 5 (just passed!) whose technique is not good. This Book 3 has been an excellent introduction to doing exercises and she has improved a lot in a short time. Normally this level of student would be on Book 5 but this pupil couldn't cope with Book 4.

I am well into this book and my teacher tells me that I am ahead of the game so far so the book must be proving its worth.
