For those who have had this bag for a long time, how is it holding up and are you rough on your bag?

I haven't had it long. I will say it seems sturdy & well-made. I wouldn't say I'm hard on it. It's part of my 1st battle belt build.

What are the patch area measurements?

Patch area measurements are 1 7/8" high by 2 5/8" wide. Flap width is 3 1/4".

Are snap straps for belt loops secure? It looks like they would undo easily?

The snaps will not unsnap, very secure. I work outside in rough conditions and never had it snap off . My phones very protected.

Can you make a version with the horizontal straps with velcro closure so it can be mounted onto verical straps (for example, on backpack front straps)

Yes. It can be mounted left hand right hand up or down. Slightly adjustable. Great for my phone.

Excellent Iphone carrier
