I wasn’t sure how useful this would be, but it quickly became one of my favorite tools. I’ve used it almost daily for more than a year. It’s lightweight and has a comfortable grip. It has a sharp blade and is surprisingly powerful, cutting through pretty thick branches with ease. It runs for a long time on one battery, but it’s nice that a second battery is included. It also has a nice hardshell case, lubricating oil, a tool to change the blade, and a sharpening stone. I’m very picky about my gardening tools, and it’s a pleasure to use such a well-built and thoughtfully designed tool.

It is a comfortable wrist saver. I've used it to trim hedges, roses & various dead parts of plants in yard. Its sharp & easy to use. Its a real professional, sturdy & a surprisingly powerful type yard tool . Love it!

My Dragro battery operated pruning shears arrived yesterday so the first thing I did was to charge both batteries after reading the instruction manual. It took a little over an hour to charge each of them so that I would be ready to prune today. I had four rose bushes on my list to accomplish today and I've now got them done. I am very impressed with how well they worked and the much shorter amount of time it took me to get the job done. I have arthritis and I didn't do a very good job last year due to pain but that never happened today. They cut through the branches like butter, even for the old dead wood that I had missed last year. This years pruning was a much better job due to these new pruners. I would agree that one really needs to be paying attention when using them as they are very quick and could do major damage if you don't focus on the job. I can't speak to how long they will last, how long the blade stays sharp, or even the battery charge at this point. It only took me about three hours to do a decent job on the roses which were not in such great shape. I came in, took off the battery, and immediately cleaned the pruners so that they are ready to go tomorrow to finish what I didn't get done today. UPDATE: I've used these about 6 times since my first post. The battery life was impressive at about 6 hours. I've made it a point to clean them after each use before storing them and haven't yet needed to sharpen them. I've used them on Crepe Myrtles, Japanese Maples, roses, and Iris leaves and they have done an incredible job on everything so far. Highly recommend these.

This tool is fantastic! All my cutting and trimming jobs are effortless because this item is a workhorse I’m always amazed at how long the battery lasts.

Yes it works very well Ihope it will have a longand happy life, meaning, I dont have to buy another one. It would be nice if it came with more then one cutting blade.

Especially handy for trimming rosemary bushes, both the dead hard interior branches and the exterior thick bushy stems with their thick resin. I also use it frequently to trim my peach, orange and pineapple guava trees, and to trim pretty thick branches on my shrubs. It doesn’t jam often except when the branches are too thick or hard for the blades to cut through. The battery recharges fast. The only problem I have had with it is when I tried to replace the blade. The instructions are very difficult to understand and follow

I primarily bought this to trim my pear and apple tree but use it for other things as well. It cuts great and love using it over using manual pruners. Cuts most branches that could fit between the blades with ease and the battery lasts a long time. This is a great tool except I hate the automatic power off mode. After 2 minutes of nonuse the tool turns off. I get on a ladder to reach some branches on my trees and it's highly annoying when you move the ladder to get in position, climb up to cut a hard to reach branch but can't because it powered off. Drives me crazy and wish I could turn that feature off...would be 5 stars otherwise.

Good pruners and a slightly expensive price. The work well but I can't find new blades. I hope I can when I need them! Other than that, functionally they get a 10 out of 10. I have 35 apple trees, 80 hazelnuts and a host of other nut and fruit trees. At 71 I'm done with manual pruners and these get the work done saving my hands from pain. These work so well that I now have a second set.

When the package arrived I checked the content and it was incomplete. According to the instruction manual there should be a little container with lubricant in the box, it is not. The instruction manual states that you need to use it twice a day. I could not find anywhere on the website where I could contact anyone.

I bought this to help cut up some brush in the backyard. I didn't need anything really powerful and the price was right. To my surprise, this thing really chomps down. It easily cuts through a 1" branch. If it's dry wood it'll go through stuff even larger.

Bonjour. J'ai acheté ce sécateur il y à moins de deux ans et déjà une batterie HS et je n'arrive pas à trouver de batteries de remplacement, pas sérieux du tout surtout à ce prix. Si non très bon matériel qui coupe de bonne section de branches verte. Si quelqu'un à trouvé des batteries de remplacement je suis preneur. Cordialement. Bruno
