If you're debating getting pads, get them.
These are solid rollerblade pads!! I took a nasty fall and was so grateful for these as they took the brunt of the impact from the wrist pads. Definitely worth it. I am a believer now.

Great set of guards.
My daughter joined the roller derby and needed protective equipment. She loves vintage and loved the vintage/retro aesthetic of this set. As you can see we got the matching helmet. They are lightweight and take a beating without her getting injured. She is very petite, so sizing can be tough...but this was perfect. Highly recommend!

Looks great, provides protection, a bit too loose for my 55-60lb 8 year old
I bought my 8 year old son inline skates for Christmas and picked these bands because they look awesome. They work well, providing the protection he needs, but everything is a little too loose on his skinny limbs and he complains that the elbow pads are itchy. I will sew up the straps to make them smaller, but that's a lot of work, at least for me.

Only has one cheep strap to hold them on pro tc is a better pad

Hands down the best!
My sweet monster is obsessed with Roller Derby/Roller Skating and she has wiped out a million Times learning to roller skate at the skate park. These have saved her knees, elbows and wrist/palms so many times. She is 9 and they fit amazingly. Match her skates and helmet too!
