Furthermore, it emits a weird blue color when it does warm up. Also, it's unusually long and protrudes from the can I mounted it in. Other bulbs fit fine. A terrible product. It's just too slow to brighten up. Would be great mixed with one or two 3500k LED's. You could get the quick brightness of the LED's and the low price of this CFL.Anyway, if you find 2700k too orange, and 5000k too blue, you might find this a great choice for areas where having the full light output delayed for 10-20 seconds isn't too annoying. Maybe it deserves 5-stars as the first light you wake up to in the morning?
