Ok, Ok, thiiiiss was my first foray into the shadowy underworld of Moissanite jewelry. I have become quite disenchanted with all things diamond. They are neither rare or forever and the prices go up and up and up while the actual diamonds remain the same. So after a lot of research on diamond alternatives, I settled on Moissanites. I made the purchase from GemStone King because it is an old and respected company that has been around long before the internet. When my earrings arrived I opened them outdoors in the sunlight and literally laughed in delight. Not kidding, these earrings are hands down the sparkliest things I have ever seen in my life. And I have seen some sparkle. I know that diamond sellers and hardcore diamond wearers, will sniff dismissively and say that too much sparkle is peculiar and a dead giveaway. Yeah, whatever, peculiar is paying a gagillion more that a rock is worth. Upon the matter of setting quality: These are just fine. The settings are standard for 14kt gold, not flimsy or loose, the posts are not bent. Compared with any other gold earring settings I have, these are pretty much the same, no worries on the front. There has been much mention made of the earring backs on other reviews. The little silicone protectors appear to be for shipping only, although some other buyers evidently think they are in lieu of backs, they are not. So the only oddity is that we do not get actual earring backs with these, and I have no idea why not. Perhaps it keeps the cost down, this is gold, afterall. But unless this is your first pair of earring ever, you have other earring backs, so use them and don't fuss. All in all, I am really happy with my purchase and recently felt confident enough to purchase a pendant to match. ^_^

I have wanted diamond earring studs for many years. Conflict diamonds are not for me, and lab grown diamonds are not inexpensive. This gemstone has sparkle and brilliance beyond what I hoped for. However, as other reviewers have mentioned, the earring backs are tiny and less than ideal. But, still worth the price. I wear them every day, even if I only venture to the mailbox at the end of my driveway.

Yes, I am so happy with these earrings. Beautiful, nice size, very sparkly, and soooo comfortable. I had a pair given to me some years back (not from this seller or on Amazon) and I wore them all the time. They were uncomfortable, back pin sticking me during the night, and my lobes were bothered by them. To make a long story short, I lost one (because I'd loosened the back....because it was bothering me) and I replaced the pair with these. Boy am I glad I did. Well worth the value I paid for them, and they are perfect all the way around. I am happy. Would buy from them again or gift them...

With jewelry, initial presentation is important. I opened the box and I see the earrings rolling around loosely in a tiny plastic bag. I tried to take them out and pin them side by side into the cushion in the box (the way you would expect to see studs upon opening the box) to make it feel a little fancier when presenting these to my wife and that just didn't work. Such a simple little thing to make it feel less like I just bought a $5 pair of earrings. The earrings themselves were a little smaller than I thought they would be. If I did this again, I would have gone for another half-karet on each side. That said, they do look okay, but I didn't get the impression that these could be mistaken for diamonds. A little disappointed overall, but I'll have to see what my wife thinks of them once she gets them.

This company deserves 10 stars. I ordered these earrings twice. The first box arrived in a standard amazon shipping box with no signs of tampering. Upon opening the box the ziplock bag that held the earring box was not sealed and the display card to which the earrings would have been attached was no where to be found. Gem King was amazing from the moment they answered my call. I was reassured they would definitely assist in rectifying the situation but encouraged me to also report the issue to amazon. Full credit was issued to a gift card at my request so I would've able to replace my order later the same day instead of waiting for funds to hit my bank. Muhammad with amazon was great and Gen King even followed up with me to ensure everything turned out as it had been intended. Wonderful people! Now,for the product. I've ordered 2 pair of moissanite earrings and a ring. All three pieces were from different companies and each stone had the best sparkle and fire. If that is all you're looking for and want something more than a random cz, give these a try. For my, the cut leaves a bit to be desired. The table of the stone doesn't seem to have the raise that I prefer to see. But no one else will be able to notice with all the sparkle! But definitely check out Gen Stone King and the products they offer!

The stones in these earrings are the perfect size. Big enough to make an impact, but not too big that they look obviously fake. The stones are clear in color and very pretty. The settings are good quality. The earring backs are a problem. They look cheap (teeny tiny earring back encased in rubbery plastic). I will replace them as soon as I can find someone who has them in stock; my regular jewelry repair says theirs are delayed due to the supply chain issues so common these days. I am surprised that with all the negative comments about the earring backs, this vendor hasn’t fixed this. For this reason, I took off a star. However…every other earring of this type out in the marketplace has the same earring back type. I selected this vendor because of the good reviews on the stones, and the style/quality of the settings. From this perspective, I am very satisfied.

I have been searching for a good pair of earrings after loosing one of my earrings a few months ago the one I lost has real diamonds from one of the big jewelry stores I purchased years ago but didn't get my ears pierced until recently (my 50th birthday). These have a very nice feel and good weight they look like 15 to 25 hundred dollar earrings. They come in a nice presentation box and authentication card. My first picture of me wearing the earrings are the 3rd pair I ordered the other 2 pair are getting returned. I originally used some magnetic studs to see if i wanted to wear studs. Which I recommend for any male thinking about getting earrings just in case you don't like the look. Only problem with these is the fact that they come with silicone metal inserted backs. I ordered some new backs I may try the silicone metal inserted ones at some point. Update *** after wearing almost everyday. There has been not one issue with them. I did use the metal backs I ordered instead of the ones that came with them. They also get cleaned once a week with jewelry cleaner. No tarnishing I have checked with a magnifying jeweler eye. I'm very pleased
