I made some cupcakes for Halloween and needed a dye to look like blood. This was perfect. Consistency was just thin enough and the color was perfect. Container easy to use.

I'm not a cake maker by any means, I just took a Wilton class a few years ago and really did frosting coloring a few times. However, I have to said this gel color turned out great. It did require somewhere between 15-20 drops but the color does not fully develop until it has sat for a day or two. Best part it didn't give the frosting a nasty flavor or after taste.

The bottle design of this coloring is great. I'm usually using the little pots of gel that are so messy to deal with. And the color came out beautiful.

Black is hard to get in buttercream, especially if you can't use a chocolate base so I can't really blame the color here. This is the first time I've used this brand and I found it to be pretty good. I ended up with a charcoal gray because I couldn't use chocolate in this icing and if I added more color my icing would have been too thin. I will be trying it with chocolate in the future and I suspect it will give me excellent color when I do. I have yet to find a black that gives me actual black without the chocolate base.

LOVE this food coloring. You seriously only need a very small amount (and I do mean small) when using. I made a red velvet cake and it literally only took a drop to beautifully color my cake without a disgusting after taste. Same goes for macarons and buttercream! I was going for a beautiful, vibrant red and this food coloring did not disappoint. Highly recommend!!

I ordered this specifically for coloring chocolate as it was described as being oil based. From the picture, you can see the first ingredient is water which causes melted chocolate to split and ruins the texture. Product not as advertised.

Toxic product- is orange and not gold in color unless you use a tiny, tiny tiny spec.Over all waste of money. Cheap product.

The food colour is for tainting eggs, an Eastern Orthodox tradition for celebrating Easter.Everything was fine, as expected, prompt delievery, excellent price.Thank you Amazon!
