Is the kettle quiet when boiling water?

I find it to be a lot quieter than my old RH kettle. My friend and I had a conversation in the kitchen while it was coming to the boil and hear each other very well. Hope this helps

Can you completely remove the filter, and if so, is there any other plastic filter housing, or plastic in general in contact with the water?

The filter is completely removable. Easy to remove with lid off, just one piece. No other plastic in contact with water except when pouring.

How to clean the bottle as after using for a month, there seems to be some blackish substance and i tried to descale with vinegar and doesn't work?

I don't have that problem and I've also had it for about a month if not a little longer. I therefore cannot answer your question.
