Opening this is thrilling! The opened effect is stunning because the detail is there. I've bought lots of pop-up cards and this one's above-average. The front is full black with a single large gold-coloured (and gold-shiny) treble clef, so it doesn't shout a specific occasion, making it ideal for birthdays, anniversaries or the concert debut of the maestro in your family :-)As this one's particularly intricate or rather, with more parts that could tear, it needs to be opened extra carefully - it won't detract from the excitement. I almost wish I didn't have to give it away!The "carpet" that the piano stands on is a lovely touch and very realistic. (Reminds me of the 'baby grand piano' in my childhood home which stood on carpet of similar pattern.) Has anyone tried to play the music shown?

The card seems to be made of good quality card. However when the card is open it should sit flat in order to view the guitar and sound box but it just closes up. There is a small tab that should secure the card to stay flat but it doesn’t and the card still closes. Very disappointed as I’ve had pop up cards before that work perfectly well and have been half the price of this card. Unfortunately it’s now too late to send back and get a replacement as the card is for my sons birthday today

It opened lovely. Looks cute from a distance. The plain brown card on view inside let's it down a bit. Inside would look better in black.

Exquisite, very detailed card, perfect for many occasions & any age. Sent this to my grandson after passing his 1st piano exam. He was amazed & delighted by it.
