TEKTON Hex Key Wrench Set, 30-Piece (.028-3/8 in., .7-10 mm) | 25253

I've used these several times, and they seem to be very nice, and work well. I have a couple other Tekton tools, and they all seem to be a pretty quality product for the price. Not being a professional mechanic or contractor, I have found Tekton tools to be well made, and a value for the price.

I bought this and used it at work for two years. I recently bought the new style of Tekton's allen wrenches and they are better. Only buy this set if you rarely use allen wrenches. They don't break but the new one's are better leverage and have a ball end that doesn't snap off like HF's allen wrenches.

I got this kit because I lost my allen wrench for this little picatinny rail pistol laser i bought off amazon and lowes didn't have an allen wrench that small. When i got the Tekton Hex Key kit i was surprised by the weight of it, I wasn't expecting it to be as heavy as it was. When I opened it up I was able to see why it was as heavy as it was. They give you basically any size you'll ever need! there are ones smaller than a tooth pick, I have no idea what they're used for but they're included. they also have huge ones that are nearly a half inch size in diameter. The case that these come in is sturdy and made out of tough plastic. the wrenches come in two styles, long handled and short handled and they are both clearly labeled with their measurements. All in all this hex key set will pay for itself in time, it's the only set you'll need as I cant imagine what you'd need bigger or smaller sizes for. The only downsides to the set is the way the wrenches are secured in the case. the case has these little notches carved out in 3 places for each wrench. you supposed to push down on the wrench to make them pop into the notches to secure them. The issues I have is the notches widen after a while and no longer securely hold the wrenches and after a while they wont even pop when you push the wrenched into the notches, the wrenches will just fall into place loosley. But I didn't buy this set for the case i bought them for the wrenches and they work great so I cant complain too much. I'm happy with the purchase and I'm sure i'll use them for a long time.

I bought this set for my fiancee after finding myself in need of a hex key at her house and not in possession of the keys that I normally carry in my roving tool kit.As a few others have noted, the set I received came with the .028" key slightly bent - Not enough to matter but it is a little disconcerting in a brand new set of keys. The keys are also quite greasy, which is good in terms of rust prevention but I think the amount on them is excessive. The case is sturdy and stays flat when it's opened, but the hinges are thin and I won't be surprised if they break eventually. All of the keys' sizes are embossed in their homes in the case, and all but the smallest keys have their sizes clearly stamped into the metal as well. A little white paint in the stamps (after degresasing) would make them very easy to read. The oxide finish on the metal is deep and dark.The case is larger than I expected, almost 8 inches tall, but obviously necessary when you see the great length of the arms of the SAE keys. The metric ones are labelled as "short arm" but are actually rather long as well. The leverage could come in very handy with a difficult fastener. It's a very complete SAE and metric set, including many sizes that I have never used in over 50 years of active tinkering, working on machinery, etc.I've bought several other tools and tool sets branded TEKTON including impact sockets, and have yet to be disappointed in any of them. These keys appear to be quite satisfactory for occasional use. They're not as good as the ones I keep with my machine tools but they're certainly better than not having a key that you need in order to get a job done. Buy this set if only to ensure that you have one of an oddball size that you may need some day.

needed a replacement kit for work and this has all the different sizes i could ever need. Haven’t used them extensively yet, but they seem pretty sturdy so far. My only gripe is that the case isn’t all that great. It holds them well enough, but if you even lightly tap the case, some of the smaller hex keys pop out. Overall pretty happy with them though, worth the money

Works great for a set of heys that are easily found and identified in the case. No problems, sometimes the littlest keya will dislodge in the case, not a problem for how I’m using it. Exactly what I needed, no complaints from these Allen keys.

The keys are sturdy and the price back when I bought it was 15 so it was a good value at the time. I've had the hex keys that came with the item bend but these can take a good amount of torque

The seller was GRPerks. I paid about 16 bucks including shipping.I had 2 old folding hex sets, but they were only SAE/inches and they only had 8-9 wrenches per set (and most of the sizes were the same between the two of them).I wanted a set that had both SAE and metric, and a set that had most sizes...at a reasonable price. This set fits the bill. The quality is good too.So far, I have used the 2mm wrench to successfully remove a nut that was way too tight. I had to put quite a bit of pressure on the 2mm wrench, but thankfully it did not bend. It also fit the nut perfectly.The other wrenches appear to be shaped/cut well too. The case is heavy duty and very handy; the wrenches stay in their slots.I am pleased with my purchase. And because there is a good selection of sizes for both SAE and metric, I don't think I'll need to buy another hex set! I'll give my old hex sets to my local charity.

Conjunto compacto, ocupa pouco espaço. Tem muitas chaves, em milímetros e em polegadas. A maioria delas tem um tamanho bom e são fáceis de usar e guardar. Mas as chaves pequenas e mais finas se soltam fácil, não ficam encaixadas no estojo.

Cubre varias medidas, el material se ve resistente y vienen en su estuche, falta ver cuánto duran pero sin duda la marca es confiable, las recomiendo!!!

Very useful tools. I like the different sizes. Allow you to find the fit size of the different nuts and bolts.Good choice.The quality is also very good.I have tried a few, this is the best so far.
