Dracula: A Norton Critical Edition

My favorite edition of this text because of the paratext (all the extra stuff they add around the text). I’m teaching a vampires in literature course, and this provides easy access to precursors so that I don’t have to assign as many textbooks for the same effect.

Good book but there were several scratches/indentions in the book when I received it. It looked far from brand new.

Usato per un saggio universitario. La versione Kindle presenta anche le pagine reali e non la posizione che ti permette, con una buona accuratezza di dare maggior valore alle fonti in caso di utilizzo accademico (la carta è meglio ma molto più costosa e scomoda nel copia-incolla). Qualcuno non sarà d'accordo ma ci sono categorie di persone che non possono usare i libri cartacei e penso che l'inclusione dovrebbe obbligare alla diffusione dei formati elettronici nel modo più simile possibile alla versione classica.

This is a great edition as per usual Norton standards. The text is well annotated and the oaratextual material is first class. I especially enjoyed the contemporary reviews. The inside covers are a nice blood red colour which I wasn't expecting, and that's s nice touch.

Excellent addition with thoughtful annotations and a wealth of critical material by two sensitive experts, one sadly no longer with us. A ‘go to’ edition.

Great book, interesting edition. Print is small, footnote print size absolutely tiny. That won't be relevant for everyone.
