Is this cable thin and flexible?

It is not really thick, but it is not thin too. Medium flexibility. If you really need a cable for corners, or a lot of curve paths. But this was the worst 8K cable I bought, a big disappointment for me, since the brand is very high level reviews, but for me it was worst than any 4K or 8K cable I had or have. Do not buy it.

Are cheaper 8k hdmi cables as good or better than more expensive 4k hdmi cables? For example monoprice 8k vs audioquest 4k?

No they are not. This monoprice 8k cable is not a tru 8k supporting cable. We have used it on 65inch 8k qled Samsung and LG 75inch 8k tv, none of them accepted this cable. It supports up to 8k, but works only under 8k. You will need to spend the right amount of money, so you get decent cable that supports 8k truly and lasts longer!

HDMI port is 2.1 or 2.0 ?

I don't think that there is an official certified 2.1 rating available for HDMI cables yet, but these meet all the specs including 48gbps, eARC, and all the other specs for 2.1.
