However, when Margaret is forced to head to Alaska with Andrew to visit his family in an effort to make their story believable to the deportation officers, they soon realize that their plan may not be so simple after all. The supporting cast of Dad (Craig T. Nelson), Mom (Mary Steenburgen), and kooky Grandma (Betty White, still a scene-stealer at 87) is great casting that makes for many amusing scenes. this is one of our favorite romantic comedies of all time. we watch it again and again and its always funny.

A fun Rom- Com (Romantic- Comedy)
What happens when they pair up 2 real life friends to do a movie together? You get The Proposal. This was great acting from both leads. If you enjoyed Runaway Bride, you should watch The Proposal. Enjoy!

One of my favorite movies
I took my Mother camping and brought along my projector. I had forgotten to download her favorite show (Shame on me) so I knew she'd love this movie. Laughter in the middle of the woods late at night made the wild animals curious I'm sure.

Not bad
Sandra Bullock plays a Canadian executive with a New York company. Somehow she has overstayed her visa without getting a green card and must leave the US within a short time. Ryan Reynolds is one of her subordinates at the company. She hatches a scheme to get him to marry her so that she can stay. He agrees (sort of) but insists she go with him to meet his family in Juneau. It turns out his family is filthy rich.Happy ending and all that sort of thing ensue. It's not quite believable, but that's a rom-com for you.

un film très amusant
j'aime beaucoup le tandem Sandra Bullock et Ryan Reynolds. Ils se détestent au début et comme dans toutes ces histoires d'amour-comédie que nous aimons , finissent par tomber amoureux pour de "vrai". Un duo attachant et complice qui fait plaisir à voir, en des moments ou nous avons beaucoup de fictions sombres à la télé.
