Transcend 8 GB microSDHC Class 10 Uhs-1 Memory Card with Adapter (TS8GUSDU1)

Needed an microSD Class 10 memory card for my older Garmin GPS in order to download the USA in one place. This card was the least expensive that I found meeting my needs and the price was only $7.00 plus sakes tax. I just put it into the slot on the GPS and download the map I needed. No problems and another job off the to do list.

I'm using it as a replacement hard drive for an old NeXT Station Computer. Replaced an old SCSI drive using a special SD to SCSI adapter, but this small drive was perfect for my needs. Haven't tested long term durability, but seems much faster than the old spinning drive.

This is one of the many Transcend chip I have purchased. They have always been secure and trustworthy.

I just needed more microSD cards for some cheap cameras I was testing, and this worked fine. I don't like having a stack of the adapters laying around (how many do I need?) since I seem to get one every time I buy a new card. The card itself has worked flawlessly.

Yes, this is an 8 GB card (small by today's standards) but it is high quality, and I use it exclusively for updates like upgrading the firmware for my dash cam. A smaller card works just great for transferring smaller files. And this one is very high quality.

Packaging was re-labeled. Was not a micro SD with adapter. It was simply an SD card.

Good quality and fast from transcend. Used in a android box to increase storage.Have also used it in a small mp3 player. The transfer speed is fast and you wont be waiting ages to put files on it. Came with an SD adapter as well so you can use it larger products such as digital camera.Packaging was frustration free and it came formatted as Fat32.

The card is OK. Speed is pretty much as advertised: 40MB/s-READ. Unfortunately companies never advertised the much more important WRITE speed which on this occasion is ~16-20MB/s - which means the WRITE is rather slow for todays' standard.

10$ for something just to conveniently transfer screenshots from the nintendo switch to a pc is an acceptable pricetime will tell how durable it actually is
