Pelikan Edelstein is one of my favorite lines of fountain pen ink. Each shade is specifically formulated to mimic a gemstone found in nature. There were originally eight distinctive variations in the permanent line, but every year since 2012 the company has come out with a limited edition color; one of these, Aquamarine, was so popular when it was released in 2016 that it was inducted into the permanent collection.Moonstone was the 2020 "Ink of the Year." I really didn't know what to expect when I ordered it, but the more I've used it, the more it's grown on me. Like all the other Edelstein inks I've tested, it is extremely well-behaved. It shades beautifully, is not prone to bleeding or feathering (even on inexpensive tablet paper), and it cleans up easily. It's a really distinctive silvery-grey that sometimes appears dark and bold and other times takes on a medium tone with subtle highlights. The sample in the photo that accompanies this review was achieved with (at top) a heavily-wet Q-tip that was passed over the paper at least ten times; and (at bottom) with a Pilot Kakuno fountain pen with a medium nib. While it may not be the most exciting color, it's extremely pleasing to the eye, and I'm glad that I own a bottle.Amazon seems to be one of the few vendors that still has this color available for sale at a reasonable price: it sold out at many retailers, and the ones that still have inventory have priced it above the MSRP. Grab it while you can! If you like Moonstone even half as much as I do, you'll be very glad you did.

想像していた色より少し薄く、喪中向きの色ですが濃淡はハッキリしています。普段使いするなら、カラー用紙に書くとスゴく良さそうな気がするので、私的には気に入ってます。
