New to cherry prep and this pitter is perfect. Easy to use and seems to work as intended.

I decided to get a cherry pitter because cherries are in season and my 3 year old daughter wanted to try them. But getting the pit out was such a pain and the cherries were destroyed. With this though, it's so quick and easy. It gets the pit out without destroying the cherry and doesn't take all the flesh with it. Super easy to clean. Works so well! Not really sure what else I would use it for but I'm happy to keep it a seasonal tool in my kitchen.

One of the best things about summer is fresh cherries. One of the worst things about fresh cherries is the pit - especially when you’ve got kids. To make life easier, I wanted to do much of the putting ahead of time to avoid using a pairing knife and swear words to remove pits and avoid the choking hazard. This made very quick work of that project, but only for about 80% of the cherries. Because I was just plugging along, there were a lot of cherries that still had pits. I was lucky that I grabbed a few to snack on before giving them to the kids, because had I not, I could’ve been faced with a lousy surprise. This is still a very good product, but for the sake of safety, make sure you know with total certainty that the pit you believe you’ve extracted was actually extracted.

I expected cherry pots to be flying everywhere, but this tool was easy to operated, did not require much hand-strength, and the cherries came out in one piece with a perfect hole in the middle and the pits dropped straight down onto my paper towel. I was able to enjoy fresh cherries mixed in with my yogurt. There were some droplets of cherry juice, which can't be helped, but they didn't splash very far.. Overall I was pleasantly surprised!. Seems sturdy. Time will tell

This tool has made pitting cherries so quick and easy. It’s comfortable to hold in either hand and seems well made. It controls juice platter nicely but I still use it in the kitchen sink. Plus it goes in the dishwasher. It’s a keeper.

We have a toddler, and this makes removing the pits so much easier for him. Very easy to use and easy to clean. Occasionally it may miss a pit, so make sure to check before eating.

I love eating cherries but don’t love having to remove the pits in my mouth. Removing the pits with this tool is quick and easy and it is very easy to clean. I sometimes just rinse it off or put it in the dishwasher. It is very sturdy. Glad I have this.

Does exactly what is says. Easy to get the pits out of the cherries. A good purchase
