Senston Tennis Ball with String Tennis Training Ball - 2 Pack

I'm sure these would have worked perfectly for their intended purpose, however, I had a different idea in mind when I ordered these. I park 2 cars in a smallish garage. I used these to hang from my garage ceiling so I could see where to stop when I back into my garage. Works PERFECTLY!

I actually use this as the old "I am not spatially intelligent enough to park my car without smashing into the wall" device that hangs from the garage ceiling. For that, it will work divinely. Cheaper than the authentic hanging balls for the garage as well. As far as you tennis players who are looking to improve their game? Yeah, I bet this is great at that too. Good luck.

Update. Good news. The company read this review and graciously sent me a replacement set. I can't complain about that! At the end of the day, it is a tennis ball on a string. It works, I guess. thank you. This lasted about three minutes before I parked it. The string in the ball that the elastic was tied to broke, and well, it just kept going. It had just one job...Lame. Boo. Now it's just a dumb tennis ball.

Good workout! Our street was just newly paved and I have enjoyed using the Senston on the smooth flat surface. I tied the string to a 5 pound weight to hold it down. Seems like this item is best for a more experienced player, as it takes coordination to keep the ball coming back to you in a trajectory that you can get to and hit. I am a 4.0 rated USTA player. My friend in Ohio showed me the Senston and I purchaesd one as soon as I returned home to California.

This ball is a good replacement for tennis ball training kit for all levels in my opinion. I can do a quick connect the ball & string itself to a brick and practice many hours with different techniques, such as volley, forehand, backhand, smash, especially backhand slice. At the beginning, it requires control with light force, loose grip & patience then increasing power when you feel the ball coming back consistently. I prefer using these balls than my $1K tennis ball machine because I can practice anytime, anywhere and good for warm-up before a game. Will post a video later.

The ball is in an elastic type band NOT a string replacement band. When you hit the ball it bounces all over the place. This does NOT work as a replacement with a regular tether ball game.

Great product and company. First one broke rather quickly if you hit monster hard. Second one is fine so backed off the power about 10% and very happy about the results.

My daughter will go outside and hit tennis balls for hours. Does have a tendency to get tangled, but really helps with control and hitting the sweet spot on the racquet.

Very good item to practice tennis alone any where.
