Important for Consumer to understand Region Codes for BlueRay Players & the discs
Product comes with two discs, Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. However, these discs came with different Region Codes. The Da Vinci Code disc can be played on multiple Regions A, B, and C. But Angels and Demons can only be played on players that support Region B or the UK and Europe. My player does not support Region B. I now understand the different Regions, but why would the vendor supply discs with different codes? I also talked to Sony that made my player, but the product only supports Region A or discs that are Region-Free like the Da Vinci Code. Shame on me, but I can't view half of my purchased product.

What a HUGE Disappointment !
Like most I figured Tom Hanks and Ron Howard is a sure thing when it comes to Actor/Director combination (aka Apollo 13); but was I surprised. The Da Vinci Code does not start out giving viewer any real sense as to what is the urgency or plot, as you are lost from the start. Next, with the exception of Tom Hanks the cast is "awful". Lead actress has very heavy French accent as does police captain Jean Reno (The Professional), so between numerous subtitles and "very" heavy French accent you are guessing at much of the dialogue. Further, if this is a thriller taking place in Rome and concerning The Vatican why is everyone French and not Italian? Just doesn't add up. Finally if you are devout Catholic, as I am, you have to wander through 1+ hours of French accents and subtitles only to reach the 1st character you can understand (British accent) who insists that the Holy Grail is not a cup, but a women's private parts and Mary Magdalene is Jesus' wife! Really?Despite this gave Angels & Demons a try to see if any better adventure movie with less anti-Catholic agenda. The plot moved so quick with so many twist & turns it's impossible to follow, and more importantly impossible to believe. I was expecting National Treasure with a top lead actor and director and instead got a barely legible pile of anti-Catholic venom. Threw it in the garbage when done and saved the case.

The movies people - they are so much better than the books
The movies people - they are so much better than the books. Tom Hanks and Little Opie do a terrific job of turning Dan Brown's books into good entertainment. You cannot go wrong with a Tom Hanks movie at all, in my opinion. I've read the books as they came out, and can tell you the movies are a lot better! ;)

Robert Langdon Collection
This DVD is a great buy if you like the Dan Brown series. Tom Hanks plays a great Robert Langdon in all three movies. There is a lot of extras, too, on these Blu-rays. The movies are beautiful to watch, too.

love Tom Hanks
I bought this for my husband. I've already seen the Da Vinci Code. It was okay as far as memory serves me. Nothing great or I would have a better memory of it. But I like Tom Hanks in just about everything he does.

Fraude
La promoción indica que ambos dvd están doblados al español, y eso no es cierto. Solo uno lo es, y la venta en resumen es un fraude.

Great duo!
This copy was purchased as a Christmas present for a family member but I have my own copy of each of these movies and they are great! Love this series and can't wait to see the third installment. It arrived exactly when it was supposed to and in great, new, unopened condition just as it states in the description.

Cheaping out on the blu-ray
Fantastic price for 2 great movies on blu-ray.Okay, so Angels and Demons looks amazing on blu-ray. It's everything it's supposed to be, being set in the beautiful city of Rome and exploring the vatican. The movie is great to watch even if you don't care about the story (which I really liked). What lets this box set down is the fact that The Da Vinci Code doesn't have that same blu-ray impact. The picture is very soft, and while the colours are nice and everything, it's certainly not as vivid as I expected. I was hoping for really good picture, given the content, but it's just not sharp and pristine like most blu-rays. It's still very close to the dvd transfer. I have older movies on blu-ray that outshine The Da Vinci Code. This set is 2 normal blu-ray cases held together with a cardboard sleeve. Just in case anyone wants to know.

Angels and Demons. Brilliant Film - But
The book is a true masterpiece. Fast paced, well researched, excellent story. The film is very good for those who have not read the book. It is fast paced and well made, but it's as if the book has been cut in half. So much has been left out or changed.Having said that, I thoroughly enjoyed the film (even though Ewan McGregor could have been replaced with a cardboard cut-out and no-one would know the difference). My only disappointment was the casting for the Camerlengo (Ewan McGregor). He was totally bland and gave nothing to the role.In the book, the Camerlengo is emotional about his convictions and at the end is quite mental. The rest of the cast were well chosen and of course Tom Hanks portrays Robert Langdon to perfection.

intriguing throughout
it's pretty much common knowledge that when a books story is transferred onto screen that not all the original details go with it, this of course is for practical reasons due to film running times etc, and while it is the case here that all of the plot twists from the two books are included within the films and slight alterations to the stories have been made the essence of the two stories remains intact. In my opinion ron howard and tom hanks have made a valiant effort at recreating two amazing books for the screen which represent the books well and open up the stories to a wider audience. Fans of the books and people new to the stories alike should be throughly entertained by these two great films

2 of the same?
The da Vinci code starts off good and ends slowly. Angels and Demons starts off slow and ends good. Otherwise they're the same film more or less. Tom Hanks plays himself very well in this reprise of his role in [... insert any film he's been in here...] Blu-ray versions have good photography but DVC won't remember where you left it last time which is annoying.
