Great effect for making a cheap desk!
I wanted to increase my desk space but didn't have much budget so I bought a sheet of mdf, stained it and then covered the top with a sheet of this 2 years on it still looks great - in the image it's on the left (in case you can't tell!!) blends pretty well with my existing desk so I'm really happy. I covered a big storage box under the desk too so at a glance it all looks like its part of the same unit.

This was used on a table over 200 years old passed down through the generations and now to us. It was in terrible shape as you can see and we didn't quite know what to do with it. A little nervous to refinish such an old table so we tried this and it looks like a brand new table!
