Woodwick candles are amazing. The scent of the amethyst and amber is clean and slightly masculine. The two remaining scents in this candle are suede and sandalwood and smoked jasmine. Both of which have a more masculine smell as well. The scent is not flowery (a plus for me) and the colors are pretty when it's new. They do become a little blah and after use as they melt and mix, but I don't buy them for their color, so not a deal breaker for me. The candle arrives well packaged and in perfect condition. The crackle of the wood wick is beautiful. The ellipse shape is my favorite as it seems to permeate the scent more and they seem to me to last a very long time.

I bought this to put in a housewarming basket for my sister because her favorite color is purple as is a lot of her decor. I thought if she doesn’t particularly care for the scent the she can just display it since it’ll match. These are my very favorite candles of all time! I love everything about them - the scent, the even burn, the crackling sound……love. It. All! And since I’ve introduced them to her and my brother, they do too! She loves the scent of it too so that’s a big plus! I’ve never had a bad experience with this brand of candle!

This Review is Important to read! I ordered this WoodWick 'Glass' Candle (and another brand Glass Candle ) . They arrived Quickly and in the Same Box. The WoodWick was in its own FACTORY packaged box ( as was the other ). Both were Well Packaged. Neither moved around in their perspective boxes. Neither were broken!!! But there was wiggle room inside of the Amazon box. I speak of this candle and the other for a reason. People Claim, that their candle arrived broken. Well, this is my opinion, I dont see that happening. After opening and inspecting Both candles I repackaged them...and out of pure curiosity, I threw the box on my ceramic tile floor. I then picked it up and saw a dent in the Amazon box. I opened it and opened the individual candles boxes and inspected both. Now, you would think that there would have been at least one, broken. To my surprise, neither were broken. Do you know why? I'll tell you, it is the way that the Factory Packaged them. So, I concluded that the Factory must have Packaged them broken for the other customers. My point is, do Not always believe the negative reviews. Unless, Amazon and their Drivers are playing football with their deliveries ( that is on them) I dont believe that the businesses are sending you, On Purpose, broken items. They would be out of business!!! There would be No Businesses in that case. Mature Adults you know what I'm talking about. If i am correct, I believe that right in the add it states a 30 day $ back. And look for yourself but if the Item is damaged you can file a claim. Maybe that is only for Prime members. ?? Back to the candle; this is a lovely candle. It is Not 40 years old, so it Does have Scent! It smells wonderful ( I smell it throught my medium size house.) Yes. The wax melts lol they do that. It melts, it liquifies... I see no soot. It smells great and has an Average burn time. The crackling sound is relaxing and reminds me of sitting around a small camp fire. I have used WoodWick candles for decades; In different states. Their quality has not changed. I recommend this for x-mas, birthdays, thank you, anniversaries, Thanksgiving. Or.... whatever.

Just to be clear, this is a Yankee brand candle, so excellent quality from them as always! I felt like I was taking a gamble by buying from a brand I didn't know, but I was pleasantly surprised. I love the scent, it's sophisticated and fresh. The crackling wick burns clean and even, the scent fills the room really well. It feels like a cool little fireplace in my apartment. It's so perfect for when I've been cleaning and want my place to smell nice while feeling a little pampered. I sent one to my sister and she loves it too. I'll definitely be buying again.

The Woodwick candles are my absolute favorite candles! The candles are very attractive in any setting and a refreshing change from the average round jarred candle. Just as refreshing to look at is the array of scents that are available. Each scent is very pleasing g and last throughout the life of the candle. Even under daily use these candles last longer than most without the need for trimming a wick and worrying about smoke. The thing I like most about these candles is the inviting crackle that comes from the wooden wick that reminds you of a soothing fireplace with a wonderful glow.

These are the best candles, when they aren’t on sale maybe a little pricey but so worth it. The fragrance will light up the whole house with fragrance that isn’t overly powerful. They burn evenly, and last a pretty long time.

Absolutely love these candles. You can never go wrong. The fragrance is amazing. The burn quality is amazing. I love how it makes the clicking sound. The brightness is wonderful.

Cette bougie sent très bon (la première couche en tout cas), une odeur de vanille très gourmande et assez puissante qui se répand bien dans les petites et les moyennes pièces. Si vous aimez les odeurs discrètes, passez votre chemin car elle sent assez fort. La mèche qui crépite est sympa, bien que le bruit ne soit pas si fort que ça, ambiance cocooning assurée. La bougie fond uniformément sans faire de puits au milieu si on la brûle suffisamment longtemps. Je recommanderai sûrement d'autres produits de cette gamme.
