Does it have a hook under the center pole to hook weight for stabilization?

This is more like a desk/table top tripod. I gets pretty small, but at is longest, fully extended everything is less that 30 in tall. I've used it with my Sony A7iii, but not with large lenses. Its made more for like getting low shots, the "down to earth" type shots. To answer your question, NO center hook, as this is carbon fiber and weigh about 1 lbs, or 0.4ish Kg

is the camera mount plate bolt have a d-ring so that you do not have to bring a tool with you?

Yes, mine has a built in d ring on the screw.

Where does the belt hook attach to the tripod? I see no place that seems to work.

I've had mine for 2 years now. Pulled it out of my camera bag of the camera I bought it for and use it, to look for a belt hook. Then I went to the product page. Like I thought (at least I don't see it) there is no mention of a belt hook, nor do I see one. Although this tripod can support a Bridge Camera or a DSLR with small to mid-size zoom, I use it with my Sony RX100VII. Hope this helps.
