This light is used to light a small area at a historic site to deter vandalism. It is exactly the size and brightness needed for this area.

Not bright for the price
Don’t waste your money. Should have read the reviews before I purchased. Not bright at all. The only good thing is the motion. Once the motion is activated you can stand under it and would still need a flashlight to see your feet. Very disappointed

Just what I was looking for!
The light is low until the motion sensor is activated and then incredibly bright. Just what I was looking for. Their customer service department was excellent. Fast and responsive.

Solar Lamp and customer service .
The lamp itself is fairly robust in construction . The lamp housing is all plastic pretty weatherproof . I removed the light panel to look at the inside . Its a very simple layout of motion detector on/off switch on small circuit board attached to 2 large rechargeable batteries . The light panel and solar panel are about 1/8'' thick so there is really nothing complex in the light which is probably good. The motion sensor is very sensitive . The 100% light output is ok and is suitable to my needs but don't expect search light lumens. The solar panel has only seen overcast days of winter for charging so I don't believe I may be getting maximum light output. The remote could have better instructions as a number of buttons don't do anything so it is a bit of trial and error. Not sure what the 3 hour 5 hour and 8 hour buttons are for.I have attach the mounting brackets which includes stainless steel bolts and nuts to a basketball post and also added my own locking washers to make tighten the bolts easier. The mounting brackets and metal arm are fairly robust.My first lamp had function issues and I contacted Lovus on Xmas day and to my surprise they replied within 24 hours . I also had other questions and again response was either same day or next day. I will give Lovus 5 for resolving products issues and follow ups
