My granddaughter goes through sketch books like most kids go through socks. This is a nice mid grade quality artist pad. The top spiral is nice and makes it easy to draw portrait or landscape. She usually has much larg pads, but I am trying to encourage her to use all different sizes.

bought for my Granddaughter for her 10th birthday, she's still learning how to draw and what to draw. she uses the other sketch book more and lets others draw on this sketch book, but she will learn all she can do with different sketch pads. (if it were mine, I would use the large sketch book for ink drawings, and small sketchbook for pencils.)

This pad seems cheap and not high quality pages.
