A good page turner
Gripping tales of derring do in the swashbuckling submarine service. So great action narrative and strong portrayal of the stresses of submarine command. Two aspects grated. Submariners call their submarines ‘boats’ but they are referred to wrongly as ‘ships’ in the narrative. Additionally there’s an episode of ‘psychiatric’ rehabilitation which seems completely unbelievable and adds little to the story. The same plot could have been developed in a more credible way.

Review
Very good story, though shame about some of the spelling errors in the E-book version, no doubt in the transcription from the original texts.

Adventure Story
Rattling good adventure story in the "derring do" tradition, but thoughtful about stresses and strains placed upon the combatants. Written with a seaman's knowledge.

Trigger
A book I think anyone interested in fiction war stories would embrace. Well laid out with no complications, very hard to put down. Excellent read perfect for those who suffer from insomnia.
