Great accessory to speed up and simplify sharpening. I did 3 chains the first day I received it, all cut really well.

I know with practice you don't need the guide tool, just the file, but this worked really well for a beginner. Keeps the file aligned in one direction, and you just need to keep it parallel with the sides of the guide tool as you file. The tool is slanted even so that as you file down the tooth, the overhang stays consistant. Just keeps it simple. I'm not a professional, just dropping dying trees from time to time for firewood for personal use. Works like a charm, and some of it even has dedicated spots in my husqvnarna chainsaw case.
